FF8 broke the barriers This is the game that arguably introduced the Final Fantasy franchise to the non-game playing masses. Most shops would display the cutscenes as a storybook and demo. Guys want to be as cool as Squall. Faye Wong's Eyes on Me is aired on the radio. This is a must have game for the story and the memories.

FF8 is the best FF7 Sucks This game is Awesome!!!! Beats FF7 hands down x9999 Overkill lol.
Its got a great storyline, great graphics for its time, Battle and junction system is easy and great for people who are new to the FF Series.
I recommend this one over FF7 (which is sooooooo boring and like me you would not even get pasts the First CD and get bored of it.
Dream realized FFVIII was the first RPG game i have ever played, and i played it a looong time ago. Even though i could't speak or read english (I don't live in US), i loved the game and nowdays, thanks to Play Asia, i was able to buy this fantastic game and play once more (and understand the story). Average Final Fantasy After playing FF 7, this was quite a dissapointing game in comparison.. It has its merits. But the GF / Junctioning system is absolutely useless. The story and the villian are not very interesting either. I only played because I'm a Final Fantasy fan. If your not stick to FF 7.
The best FF game ever!!! This is really my favorite FF game. The first time I played this game was when I was at 7 grade. I don't get bored. The story is good, the gameplay is awesome and the finale is even better. Buy it! You won't regret it!.
THE Final Fantasy Experience This is a truly fantasy filled GEM and a Fantasy ~Finalé~ game.
Final Fantasy VIII was THE RPG experience back then, (Never cared for that 廍in City� like FF VII). To tell the truth, nothing hooked me in any RPG like the Summoning Magic of VIII (Followed immediately by that of FFX).
I own the whole series of Final Fantasy, and VIII sets on top of all!! And that is due to It𠏋 aesthetic Magic, Characters and Confrontation Fight Scenes (Hated FFXII)...
My All Time Favorite Game I've Played This When I Was Around 7 And It Showed Me What A real game is. It has beautiful music, great graphics for the time, and played like the perfect RPG. The Characters were also very likable.
Great game Best final fantasy IMO came very quick and this is a very good game i reccomend this game highly! still hard to decide which is better between VII. VIII. IX
