Sam Fisher's next-gen debut The fourth installment of the hit stealth-action francise doesnot disappoint. It delivers on most counts and whatever grouses are there, are generally nitpickings in totality. The game has shiny new graphics, terrific sounds, tight controls and an engrossing plot-line. Sam Fisher's next-gen debut is a solid one. The interesting moral choices given to Sam Fisher in this game are the highlights. The delicate balancing act required on the player's part to trully make Fisher a double agent is a welcome addition to this genre and this series in particular. There are some minor issues (essentially bugs) doesnot detract from the overall attractiveness of the game. Play-Asia as usual offers the best deal for this game and I recieved this game pretty fast (by regular airmail) which is simply awesome. Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Double Agent Sam Fisher is back in this fourth instalment of the ever popular Splinter Cell series. He takes on his toughest assignment by infiltrating a terrorist organisation in an effort to bring it down. Throughout the game, we see Sam experience that classic dilemman that moles face when he befriends people within the organisatio, blurring the lines of good and bad.
Gamers who have played past Splinter Cell games will have no trouble in Double Agent as gameplay in the solo campaign is identical to previous Splinter Cell games. Missions take place mostly under the cover of darkness, which means a lot of sneaking behind enemies, putting them into a vice grip, interrogating them (which can produce rather funny conversations) and finally disposing them either through lethal or non-lethal means. Sam comes armed with the usual fare of super spy gadgets and guns as well, from sticky cameras to EMP guns and rubber tranquiliser guns. Some missions feature AI allies whom you have to work together with to accomplish certain tasks.
Newcomers to the game need not worry, however; a tutorial on gameplay mechanics have been cleverly integrated into the first stage. A little video pops out at various stages of the game, showing you what move is to be executed before engaging you to press the correct button to re-enact the move just shown. Ubisoft has certainly stuffed Double Agent full of challenging campaigns as well as an interesting multiplayer mode that offers high replay value. While Splinter Cell Double Agent is released for both the Xbox and Xbox 360, it is interesting to note that both the titles are not identical at all - gameplay and storyline are treated differently, presenting two sides to the story, something that Splinter Cell fans might want to explore.

Splinter Cell: Double Agent I have only played the first 2 missions of this game, but the graphics are pretty incredible :) very well done, the controlls take about 1 hour to get used to, but once you know them it's a breeze, does not have the style of the Metal Gear Solid series, but it is unique in it's own way, plus with play-asia offering this at such a low price how can you resist?? why are you reading this? buy it now! :D

Piracy is dead. Hail Play-asia The game rocks. On to play-asia: Rocks ultimately, had the game within a week, prices i about half of price range in Denmark and it even came with a 5$ cupon to be used to purchases for over 50$ (a bit crappy that some games are 49,90$). If these prices stay people will stop bothering to pirate games. I've already ordered other games. I can now afford to buy a crappy game now and then so I get more frisky when ordering.
So many great cheap games... so little time ;-)
