This product make it's job clearly. But charging time is very long. (About 4-6 hours). If you don't have time to charge (also when charging you have a wired gamepad), think "quick charge kit".

I have no idea how i got by without a play and charge kit. This little battery pack has brought me so much joy in the few weeks i have it, and not just for being a convienent power solution for my controllers.
Not only is the USB charger's cord long enough to be useful, but it allows you connect your Xbox 360 controller to your pc for use with pc games! Also, if your pc has a wireless bluetooth connectivity, your Windows-based pc will sync your controller up automatically without any manual configuration/installation! Very nice product Microsoft... for once ;)

Easily lasts 30+ hours which for me is about a week and a half worth of gaming. Then i just plug it into the cable, continue gaming whilst it charges... only takes a few hours then i'm back to wireless gaming.
I also picked up a Rechargeable Battery Pack to use with a second controller. I recommend doing the same if you own more than one controller. With my regular use the one recharge cable is enough for both battery packs.
