For those that are wondering if LIVE is worth it. It totally is. Also, the LIVE codes are region-free. Alot cheaper than buying in some countries.

Good savings and usable on Asia region
Got this from play-asia the other day, was skeptical if it'll work on NTSC/J sets but it did and now I've extended another year of LIVE. So pick up this great offer and enjoy gaming on LIVE.

A must if you own a US xbox.
It seems that the xbox live gold cards are region locked, so if you own a US version of the xbox you must buy this, instead of any others.
