If you created a Japanese account on your Xbox this will work for MS points. Just received it today, redeemed the code, got my points, and started downloading.

Yes, it really does work for the Japnese Marketplace
I'm not quite sure what the deal was with the previous reviewers, but the point card I received did in fact work with the Japanese Marketplace. I logged into my JPN account, redeemed the card number, and got my 3500 points no problem.

Does NOT work with Japanese Marketplace.
It should say on the description that it won't work with the Japanese accounts, so if you are buying this for, say, Idolmaster, DON'T. Put in your credit card instead.

Works with the American one, however, but I can buy American points cards cheaper, so, it's not worth it.

Odd that America is considered part of Asia and Japan isn't.
