Metal Heads rejoice
Brutal Legend is clever addictive game, the designers have managed to blend the styles of God of War and Spyro to create a well focused story driven masterpiece. Combat is broken up with intelligent puzzles that aren't always the easiest to work out and cinematic cut scenes that have quite smart dialogue. Simply a must for any good gamers library!

A beautifully designed game, at least aesthetically and a substantial part of the fun of the game entails exploring a humourous and lovingly detailed world in the mode of Frazetta and any number of awesome heavy metal album covers. The story is characterisation is top notch; perhaps on occasion the action can grow repetitive but the game has been put together with such care and love that this is a forgiveable shortcoming.

Yes the game is technically not amazing, but damn, it has a soul! characters and situations are hilarious, their whole world IS metal!! And of course... the soundtrack is KILLER. I really hope they'll do a sequel!You'll play it with your fist up high...

Technically speaking this game is merely competent, there are some collision detection bugs, sound glitches.

But if you have half a soul and enjoy Metal, this is a great choice of game.
All in all great selection of tracks, although I certainly could have done without Deff Lepard, Kiss and Motley Crue...

If this game contained some tracks by Tool, and Meshuggah, it's soundtrack would be perfect.
