Based on the epic novel, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, the genre-defining Dynasty Warriors series depicts the massive battles ignited by the fall of the Han Dynasty when three rebellious states moved to overthrow the Emperor of China. Featuring a new proprietary combat engine for next-gen consoles, Dynasty Warriors 6 delivers the exhilaration of single-handedly destroying thousands of soldiers on massive fields of combat. The lighting-fast kung-fu fighting, fluid motion-captured animation, intuitive combat system and immersive environments create an unparalleled gaming experience, and push the limits of Tactical Action.

Great hack n slash You can customize your custom characters, unlock more outfit. This game show more improvement than previous Dynasty Warriors 5: Empires.
Tactical Actions in Musou This is one of the latest Empires in Musou series, both Dynasty and Samurai warriors. One of the best part in this game is, you can create your "own" character using existing character's model!!! Imagine that you created a loli with LuBu's model, incredible!!!!
This is one of the good games recommended to play with!!
Start your new conquest to unify China once again! This is the 3rd installment of the empires series. In shin sangoku musou 5 empires, you can now choose to be an officer serving under a lord! You can be a loyal officer who advised on your lord's decision or be an unfaithful officer who betray their lord for gold like lu bu! Playing as lord has also given a whole new card system which aids to strategy on recovering your army or making pact with others to protect yourself. The whole new skill system is amazing as well, allowing you to survive on the battlefield easier even for beginners! There is also the ambush system, entering your opponent's base unseen and catch them off guard by setting it on fire! Not only that, in empires 5, you can move in water!! which gives more accessiblity. The "Create-an-offcier" gives much more vairety of editing and theres even DLC for some costumes from their other famous game. The BGMs are superb as well, the DLC also provide some old BGM for you to enjoy!
Although there maybe little event or cutscene, this game is still a great successful empires game. which i reccommend it a must try especially if you are a dynasty warriors fan.
Basically DW6 Presented in Another Way If you are not fan of the series, you need not purchase this title.
In a quick sum of this title: Previous DW:Empires on PS3 graphic.
The game felt like it have shown very little improvement over the previous installments. It can be said that the game is basically DW6 rehashed in strategy style. The game feels like an action game at heart with the depth for managing the empire absent. In every turn you are basically presented with the choice to choose card(s) to give you advantage in battle, not managing the empire. If I really want to play the action portion of the game, I'd go back and play DW6 instead. The empire system is very limited and it almost pressure you to invade from the very beginning. You are also pressured to invade in order to gain access to Stables or Forge. This is also due to the fact that invading is almost the only option to get any good amount of income and jewels for the broken upgrade system.
If you have finished the game once, any replay afterward becomes trivial with the option of bringing in the previous saved weapons and horses. The challenge are harder mode are just to defeat the enemy before they 2-shot you. Your allies are almost no help and loses 99% of the time without your help. The point of this game is suppose to have a strong empire/army, not just like DW6 ikki-tousen?(One to One Thousand)?
In another note, the all-too-familiar CAW Mode makes a return in this game when it should have been available in the DW6 already. I supposed this is Koei's way to squeeze more of our hard-earned dollars with the shady Moushouden Expansion Pack.
Like DW6, the game plays like an unfinished version. With many famous generals still have generic move sets. In my opinion, this game plays more like a sub-mode for DW6. It should not have been another brand new game. If I was not a fan of the serie, I would've given this game a 3-Star.
