aka. Mobile Ops: The One Year War
description
Two military forces, Gion and the Federation are at war, as a soldier your fate is governed by circumstances which has nothing to do with your own will, so board your mobile suit, pick up some firearms and go to war.
There are two main modes of the game, the single mode and the multi-mode. The single mode is something like a practice mode where you travel across the world and take part in all sorts of missions. You are not allowed to choose your mobile suit for these missions, you can only take what is provided for you. These missions include attacking enemy bases, taking over the enemy's mobile suits and even open warfare.
After you have completed the single mode, its time to take on all the veteran pilots out there. A maximum of 10 players can participate in a multi-mode game through the Xbox360's. The ten of you can either split into two sides and make war against each other, conquer the territories of your opponents or get involved in an all out brawl where the single mobile suit that comes through the chaos is the victor.

Not bad, but not good either I like this game, but it had to grow on me. And for a game in development as long as this, its blows. The Single player mode doesn't offer anything, and playing as a foot solider is a joke. But once you're online adn in a Mobil Suit, it's pretty fun. If you're a Gundam fan, you should get it, you'll like it. If you just want a shooter, stay away.
Almost forgot, one cool feature, its your choice to play in 1st or 3rd person, that deserves a mention.
3 stars for average gamer, 4 for Gundam fans. Just remember, it is flawed.
Could have been sooooo much better Well...this game had great potential....however....whenit comes down to the game play it is really very poor. The controls are easy, and being able to fight on foot or in a Mech sounds great in theory...they just were not able to pull it off here. It reminds me of a really SIMPLE shooting game when you shoot the enemy they just fade away instantly. This had great potential, don't waste your money on this one.....it's too bad because we need a good Gundam game that could have been this one.
