Best RTS Since LOTR BFME 2!! this game has everything that you could want for a futuristic rts. it does require a little patience in order to get the controls down and flow through combat smoothly, but after that its just up from there. the game offers limitless possibilities with skirmish option and can be played via xbox live or through system link. I would strongly suggest to buy this game! who can beat the price?!?!

Pretty decent console RTS game The graphics are quite decent for an RTS - the environments are vast and pretty. The music score is epic and the environmental sounds pretty solid. Voice acting is passable, but repeats like other RTS games. Ok, the Whip Select is not perfect and can get annoying sometimes, but it works. Stormrise is fairly decent, but does not come close to RTS masterpieces like Total War.

Interesting game An interesting game that is rather unique on the console platforms. It encourages players to think "tactically" before commiting to a course of action. Perhaps it adheres to the idea--"No Plan Survives First Contact With the Enemy" and instead put the onus on the player to select the best possible unit for a particular engagement. The games way of simulating Fog-of-War by limiting players' view of the battlemap to that of the units controlled by said player is interesting and definitely worth further developement.
Overall, this game has some nice refreshing ideas, which should definitely be further developed. IHMO.

Steep learning curve Average game,ok multiplayer, as long as you can get a handle on the controls. There is certainly a learning curve, but worth it once you get the hang of it.
