I've been tempted by CoD2, but have not justified the purchase at £40.. Along comes Play-Asia, and WITH post'n'packing drop this down to a far more sensible and irresistible £24. Absolutely top notch service, fast and efficient and the game itself is well worth the slightly longer postage delay. Will definitely use these guys again. :O)

BEST FPS ON 360 YET.
In my opinion, currently the best first person shooter on Xbox 360 so far. Online play can be lots of fun and the offline campaigns are extremely exciting and intense. I still play it occasionally, even 8 months after I first bought the game. Although, expect the upcoming 360 WWII shooters to be even better, when they're released.

Call of Duty 2 ist bislang (Juni 2006) das Beste Spiel für 360 nach GRAW. Klare Aussage! ;)
Und das hier gilt allen, die damit nicht ganz einverstanden sind: Ich selbst kann MoH nicht leiden und finde WK2 Spiele eigentlich mehr nervig als Spielspaßfördernd. Bei CoD2 ist das anders. Grafische Finesse und interessante Missionen machen das Spiel zum Hit. Mich persönlich stört höchstens mal die Gegnerflut und daraus resultierenden Massenabschlachtungen. Da rennen einem schon mal gut 50-60 Wehrmachtssoldaten vors Rohr, die alle die selbe Treppe hoch stürmen und das gleiche Schicksal teilen. Nach einer solchen Orgie ist der Zugang übersäht mit leblosen Körpern…
Ich bin kein Freund davon, deshalb halte ich ein GRAW für spielerisch ansprechender und intelligenter, da hier die Gegnerzahl meist überschaubar ist und ein Schusswechsel nicht nervig werden kann, denn: Es stresst und langweilt einfach tierisch, stundenlang nur vor dem Aufgang einer Treppe zu stehen und einen nach dem anderen umzuknallen, der um die Ecke kommt!
Für 30 € ein Schnäppchen sondergleichen und funktioniert auf allen deutschen 360-Konsolen! Wiederverkaufswert ist höher anzusetzen, deshalb darf blind zugeschlagen werden!

Zusatz: Speicherstände von der deutschen Version können weiter verwendet werden. Ich hatte das Spiel vor dem Kauf aus Leihversion.

Innerhalb von 4 Tagen nach Bestellung bekam ich das Spiel zugeschickt!

Got my call of duty 2 today, it says ntsc/j on the case cover but the disc is actually a pal disc so no problems there. Will be referring poeple to this site to get some games for half the price of the uk rip off prices.

Beats GRAW for best Multiplayer FPS on the 360 (since the multiplayer patch).
I picked this up at release, played the single player (and loved it) but was upset that the multiplayer was worse than sub-standard.

Got GRAW - played it to death - great game... love it blah blah...

Then the COD2 Multiplayer patch came out - and what a difference! COD2 is now THE multiplayer FPS on the 360... beating GRAW for sheer tense, quick & slow, stressful, enjoyable in your face gaming.

Don't take a walk to get this game... RUN.

I got this on the day I bought my 360, and nothing else has touched it for quality and playability so far.
I still find myself going back over the various missions and trying different tactics.
Graphically it is incredible, the views through scoped rifles and binoculars being almost photographic. The weather effects also look fantastic, especially the snow in the Russian campaign.
Weapons work just about how they should, with accuracy and effect seeming very realistic.
The AI seems much better to me than anything I have played before, on both sides.
Initially I would have said that it could have been longer, as it can be finished in a weekend (if you don't need so much sleep), but I have to say that the different levels of difficulty makes the missions great fun to replay.
I would highly recommend this to anyone.

amazing game from the long running call of duty series. This game has it all graphics, nail biting tense room to room close combat action, the thrills and spills of war, and the mayhem that it creates. This game makes you feel like you have lived through a soldiers life from the start of the second world war till the end. The music is dramatic, the effects are realistic and polished and is a great multiplayer game. If you want something to keep you going for a good few days of pushing the allies across europe taking back the nazi infested land then this is for you. Your going to teh front line soldier, simply buy this game to join it its awesome!!

Got the game 6 days after purchase and works fine on my 360. Its exactly the same as the PAL game accept £25 cheaper!

It is 100% compatible with Aus 360. I have played this game to death on two of my PCs (even online). This game is worth to be on your collection disregard that you have played on your PC. Definitely this was not a port over from PC so thumbs up.Just the feeling of able to play this game with a wireless controller is a gem. To feel the vibration when using a Kar98 or any other weapons is awesome.The only gripe I have is there is no leaning around corner shooting. However, I find that the layout configuration of this game for the 360 is superb, so if having the leaning function might ruin the reflex (leave it to the PC keyboard and mouse) while using the joypad.Once again a superb title richly deserved to be in your collection.
