The story of FINAL FANTASY XII takes place in a world called “Ivalice,” in an age when magic was commonplace and airships plied the skies, crowding out the heavens. War was on the horizon. Seeking to strengthen its base of power, the great Archadian Empire had been invading and subjugating its neighboring kingdoms one by one. The small Kingdom of Dalmasca was one such kingdom. Our story follows Vaan, a young man living on the streets of Dalmasca’s Royal City of Rabanastre, the Princess Ashe, the sole remaining heir to the Dalmascan throne who had been given up for missing, as well as Vaan’s friend Penelo, the sky pirate Balthier, Balthier’s partner Fran and many more on an adventure through Ivalice that traces the mysteries behind the Archadian Empire’s invasion.

Best seller series
Very good story and graphics, the game play is a new system and you will like it, have a lot of submissions and you need more than 200 hrs to level up all the party members and full complete the game.

Unlike any earlier Final Fantasies, but stil a great masterpiece
A revolution in Final Fantasy series.No more random encounter, even further no more battle screen transition and battles take place at the same screen.
Storyline-wise, it's perfect. And SquareEnix has done a perfect job in localizing it in terms of script and voice act, the latter which is a rarity in Square games.

Ride the Strahl to the sunset and get ready for the jouney
Once you start this game, it's very hard to put it down. FFXII is a great addition to the series in terms of it's unique gameplay, beautiful graphics, extensive world map, and intriguing story line. While Vaan was complained about to most reviewers, he is a refreshing take on a hero that hasn't been seen in the final fantasy series. Overall, this game is a definite must for any ps2 owner

FF XII is the last Final Fantasy series in PS2 console. Instead of using the previous battle system, this game is using a brand new system (Gambit and License Grid).
By Gambit System, you'll feel like playing a MMORPG but better!
this game is also one of the Ivalice Alliance compilation too.
better not miss this game! a must have for RPG fans, especially FF fans.
