a must have for any Final Fantasy fan
not my favorite in the series but difinetly worth every peny.. this game was amazing in terms of gameplay and scale. the only draw back was the story which could have been better

Very nicely done. I enjoyed playing this for hours. This game gives it a more RPG feeling to it.

But heed my words... If you don't understand Japanese... This game will be very difficult.

a collector's item if youre into game collections
same FFXII game, lots of new and improve gameplays like the job system. everything is in japanese though,so better check the net for translations. be aware that the dvd included is also region locked.

Great, but could have been better.
Although with the new stuff that's been tweaked, i felt this version was a lot weaker that FFX-2: international+last mission. But i have enjoyed playing this through. I played the english with 70+hours without the side-quests, but this allowed me to finish in just 28 hours! That's because of the speeding up mode which lets you play twice the speed of the original.

Nevertheless, the bonus DVD makes up for a reasonably good version.

No English menues
This version should not be sold at all with the word "English" any where on it. This is not like SE's usual international versions with the ability to change menu's for the "international" market to play the game. This is strictly a Japanese version with the ability to turn on English words "if" you can read the menu.

Waited for this version long time to play the full game like the other final releases I own and wasted the money on it cause of false advertising by the Square.

Honestly after having played over 200+ hours on the na release of this game I only bought this to complete my "Int" collection, I still love the game but was in no hurry to play it at first.

Well after playing it I gotta say it is THE better version, everything I have seen all the changes...job system etc makes the whole experience much better, while I do consider the extra content/effort a tad weak compared to x-2int +lm this is still worthy of the name INT and offers alot to those who really enjoyed XII.

The bonus dvd and mini ( it aint much ) art book is also pretty cool.

Some major difference to this from the original is that you can now control Espers and Guest characters. The Zodiac Job System allows you to assign a certain job to all your characters (12 zodiac signs, 12 jobs). Unfortunately, once you have decided, you can't change them, the only way to change your character's job is to play the game all over again and assign a new job (or at least leave a save file where you haven't assigned a particular job to a character yet). This can be a royal pain, so decide your job wisely.

Another gripe about it is that the Asian version does NOT contain the bonus DVD that the Japanese version does and I mistakedely ordered this one at the thought that this had the bonus DVD. So if you want the extras, buy the Japanese version. This game is NOT for casual gamers. If you have all the time in the world to kill to play this game all over again to test out new jobs, by all means buy it, if not, just wait for Final Fantasy 13 for the PS3.
