Solid game all around, If a bit overhyped.
The game was overhyped due to it getting delayed a few times, the game is solid all around the 4 difficulties are good for all players of every skill level from easy for begginers to Legendary for those looking for a challenge. Multiplayer is a fun, with a good amount of customization for unique multiplayer games. Xbox live is where the heavy hitters are at.

It is not the greatest thing since sliced bread as some would run around and rave, but it sure as heck doesn't suck either.

Halo 2
This game is so good, that 2 months into my 1 year contract to work in South Korea I went out and bought an Xbox yesterday along with local copies of Halo 1 & 2 just so I can play it! (my other is at home in Australia) I am having withdrawal symptoms and could not last any longer without playing Halo 1 & 2, they are such immersive, atmospheric games. Fantastic graphics, coupled with one of the best storylines in a long time make the Halo games essentials to any collection. I give them the highest recommendation.

If you like FPS games you'll love Halo 2. I wasn't such a big fan of the first halo game, but Halo 2 is definitely one of the very best FPS games i've ever played. Great graphics, good storyline and solid action throughout the game.
And playing online adds a whole new level to the game. Online play will surely give you many hours of fun.
