Sweet! Got mine today. Works great with a standard Saturn Pad. The original Sega VMU doesn't work, but a 3rd party unit runs flawless. Now i can play DC fighters and emulators with the great Saturn pad. Highly recommended. :-)

Perfect always dreamed using saturn controllers on DC and my dreams come true with TC3. Plya fighting games as Last Blade, King of Fighters 98 and Street Fighter never was so good on a DC. The memory card slot do not work but you can simply plug a VMU in a DC controller on port 2.

A Fighting Game Fan's Dream Come True! I was a little wary about ordering this at first since I was sceptical on whether or not it worked; but I gave it a shot...and it works perfectly!
I read that the VMU slots didn't work but they work just fine for me so I guess it might be a random bug but the normal Saturn controllers work perfectly. If you're a fighting game fan and use the D-Pad, and if the Dreamcast controller isn't doing it for you; buy this now. You have no idea how much fun Marvel vs. Capcom 2, Capcom vs. SNK 2, Fatal Fury Mark of the Wolves and the other fantastic fighting games for the DC are with this adapter.
Note: I haven't tried the Twin Stick (I don't have one) and this will NOT work with the Saturn's Analog controller.

Excellent Got mine in the post today and am very pleased. Finally able to play all my DC Capcom fighting games the way they were meant to be played - with a Saturn pad. Haven't had any problems with the VMU port either I'm pleased to say.

Saturn pad works perfect... too bad VMU doesnt If you want to play with your Saturn controllers on your dreamcast, this gadget will do the trick, and is probably the only way for you to do so. The Saturn controller has a much better D-Pad than the Dreamcast one, and it also has 6 buttons on the front, making it much more intuitive for playing fighting games.
However, forget all about the VMU compatibility. The VMU port simply DOES NOT work. AT ALL. The VMU will not be detected by the dreamcast console, period.
This could have been a major problem, but it is actually not much more than an inconvenient, since you can bypass it in the following way: Simply plug in a regular DC controller with a VMU in another controller port, and the game will load your saves from the regular controller, while you're using the Saturn pad to play.
VMU support would've made this a perfect product, but fortunately the Saturn controller works perfectly and that's the most important.
