A big upgrade from the G/S games
While the additions to the strategic aspect of the game were sparse (only a few new useful moves learned by a few pokémon), everything else was wonderfully done. The remixed versions of the old 8-bit musics, the Johto cities, the move animations, even the AI were a big upgrade from not only the GSC games, but also from Pokémon Platinum. The only real downfalls are the apparent lack of a catchable Celebi in-game (like in Japanese Crystal) and no VS Seeker. Besides that, I really can't see why any Pokémon fan would not play this game. Seriously.

Soul Silver
One of the best Pokemon games ever. Yes it is a remake, but the added features makes it compatible with the newer Pokemon world. They have even added the world trading network etc. The use of the lower screen for items and bag as well as phone makes it easier than ever to use items. Moreover, the characters are easier to see than in Platinum. I love this game and am glad PlayAsia offers it at such a great price. Don't forget that the Pokewalker is included with each game. It has mini games and allows you to raise the levels of a single pokemon. Moreover, you can catch new pokemon that are generally found in the Safari Zone on the walker and transfer then to the game cart.

Pokemon Silver and Gold
These two are the best Pokemon games yet. The feautures for having the pokemon follow your character around and the layout for the game on teh DS are perfect. The reaction of the pokemon and the use of the pokewalker makes this a more active game and has more interactive facets for the player. Furthermore, the audio is fab. Meanwhile, by having the bag and other features on the lower screen rather than on the X and Y buttons makes access to items easier than ever before. If you love Pokemon-- buy these games and get ready for a fun ride.

Maybe the greatest pokemon game ever
I personally think that Soul Silver is the greatest pokemon game ever. The graphics just blow me away. It is soo cute when the pokemon follow you around and they even show up shiny.

Excellent Game
Although it's a remake of Silver and Gold . They now had new graphics that is almost in 3D . They even combined Johto & Kanto together which is awesome and a longer gameplay . Although it's in japanese , It's simple japanese so it's quite easy to figure out what you have to do next . They have new evolution pokemons which makes people really excited . They even have some really awesome event to get trigger like Arceus event to get the Giratina , Palkia & Dalkia .
