Nice but... I was fooled (I guess? It was a bit off from what I expected)
Because of the cost, I thought it was metallic shiny (the picture kinda looks like that. At least it did in my eyes)
and I must have not paid a close attention to the description and the reviews on the bottom.
The description did say it was plastic, but i thought it was metallic shiny AND had a the inner silicon cushion to the case.
One of the reviews made me to believe that but it looks like it was for another product by Capcase, it was for PSP.
It does have the silicon on it, but it's for the hinge part where the top and the bottom connects.
I thought the silicon cushion was also applied inside of the case to prevent from the DSL from being scratch inside by the case.
Well, I was wrong.
AND I was also looking forward to get the strap they said they'll give you,
but no, I got a thick stylus instead that I won't be even using.
Excellent product and service The case is great, fits perfect, although missing holes for the power led, but that alright I plan to add it myself :D. Really apprectiate the service product was delivered quickly.
Thanks play-asia.com !!!
Good product, but with weak points Alumor is good product, nice shiny (but not glossy) metallic cover and silicon inner cushion that fits the slim PSP tightly. It is very handsome and the protection is very assuring. I would give it 5 stars if not for the following design weaknesses.
1. UMD Slot are not accessible when the outer metal casing is in place.
2. WLAN Switch is not accessible when the inner silicon cover is in place, even if the outer metalic cover is taken off !!!!
3. The hole for the charger port is too tight. You have to take of the outer metallic cover to make the charger properly connected to PSP.
4. All indicator LEDs are hidden by the the Metallic cover, making it hard to see if the PSP is properly charging, or if the battery is running low, or if the MSD is currently being accessed.
The redeeming point is the fact that it is easy to put on and take off the outer metallic cover, but still....
Same case except Haze Grey... I agree. The case is nice and solid, but really difficult to remove. There probably are not many reasons to remove the case, but how one can actually get the DS Lite out of it is beyond me.
That said, still a great looking case and very protective.
Solid and fits well It's a nice, solid case that fits my DS quite well. The free strap is also quite a nice touch as the original one that comes with the DS is a tad too small. My complaint would be that while the case is easy to install or put on, removing it is rather difficult and I feared for my DS while I was trying to remove it. Another gripe is that the power and volume buttons are a bit hard to "reach" now. Also, I'm not sure if it's just my case but the plastic enclosure near the GBA slot pops out slightly... Otherwise, it's a pretty nice case that I'll recommend if you want some hard protection for your DS.
Alumor Metal Case If you want total protection for your PSP, then this is the case for you. Unlike other PSP pouches, this doesn't have any storages or pockets to put your memory card in since it's main concern is protection. Just be careful of the silicon case since its a bit easy to rip.
Alumor Metal Case (platinum silver) It's really great. Your PSP is totally protected. 2 protection in one. First, a silicon/rubber skin and an unbreakable screen protector. Second is the metal casing that protects it all. Although it will make your PSP a little heavy and bulky, but for me, protection is much more important.
