Ridge Racers 2 contains 24 courses found in its predecessor, as well as all the courses until R4, to make a total of 42 courses, a record high for the series. Not only drifting feels so thrilling, but the operation is still so easy and simple, and the graphical changes are refreshing as well. Exterior appearances like courses and cars are not only realistic but the sensation of speed has also been increased. In addition, another feature of Ridge Racer is the temporal use of nitro to accelerate after accumulating sufficient charge from drifting. Using this, not only can the winning gap be widened within a short while, but one can also turn defeat into victory in critical times.

Best Ridge Racer for PSP Yet I just bought this game somewhere else and I must say it is awesome to the max. I have the original as well but I got hooked on the seqel just as fast so i decided to put the original down and continue on with the sequel. It has new tracks and news music as well.
Great little game I had the original Ridge Racer on PSP, and was quite pleased with it. But it was too dark. I bought this one on sale at Play-Asia, and am also quite impressed. It seems like the arcade version is slightly different, as you're limited to time, with time extensions as you pass certain goals. This is a little irritating, as I would like to finish the race, in a non "World" mode, and just race when I have a quick moment on my commute.
However, the colors are so vidie and pretty in this game, DVD quality as far as I'm concerned. I think the intro video is different, a clock ticking, etc. (Same song.) I love this game, and recommend it to any import gamer.
All English, but I think there's a small insert in the game manual in Chinese. But ingame text is 100% English.
Another Classic. Ok, Its not really much of a sequel; its more like an upgrade from the Original Ridge Racer for PSP. Everything that was in the first game is in this one, and then some. The graphics have been tweaked a bit and the computer AI has gotten a bit better. If you didn't get the first Ridge Racer for the PSP and would like a few more tracks to mess around with, pick this one up instead. Its Ridge Racer, what more can you ask for?
