Initial D: Street Stage is the long awaited port of the arcade smash hit, Initial D: Version 3. Street Stage brings all of the game modes straight out of the arcade into your PSP. Players can race head to head via wireless Ad-hoc or take on the racers straight out of the anime! Street Stage introduces a new card system for customization of their vehicle. For every race/battle you win, a card is awarded. Different cards provide different effects, so the more you race, the more powerful your car can be! Street Stage features over 200 cards to collect.

You liked the Arcade...Now you'll like the game! Its time to get Initialized with Sega's new release of Initial D Street Stage. You are the main character of this game! You take on more than 20 racers with more than 10 long-lasting stages. Unlike the arcade, you can unlock more soundtracks, obtain special cards that may enhance your vehicle or unlock bonus features, like sound effects, original artwork, and much more. If you are a big fan of racer titles, and you just love that dam-n series, this is the right game for you.
Its time to get Initialized; that is, portably!

Pretty good, but gets boring... Don't get me wrong, I love Initial D. That being said, when I finally got a PSP I knew that this was the first game I wanted to get, and I did. And I loved it.
So I played it. And I played it. After about a month and a half, I was just...done. The controls were too difficult to do certain techniques and get really good times on the courses in time attacks, the tuning system is just flat out annoying, and Bunta Challenge is very easy. It's a great game, but it may not last you very long.
amazing i bought that game in about less then 2 weeks i got the game and havent been able too put it down, play asia was fast and easy to buy from! i am a customer for life now after how i was treated thanks play asia i recomend u to all games!!!

Pure racing Intuitive menus (easy to understand thanks to the GREAT english manual) make this a FLAWLESS arcade port. The only negative would be the audio, naturally aspirated car have a really repetitive whir noise lol. But thats just sticking true to the arcade which has the same :S. The STi has one hell of a blow off valve though :D ANYWAY, great game DEFINITLY worth 33 bucks for ANY intiald/wangan/tokyo extreme/import racer fan with a PSP.
Wildly addictive, best game for Initial D fans and drift fans alike Street Stage is possibly the most addictive game, and possibly the best game on the PSP (it's a fight between it and MGS:PO). It's almost arcade perfect, the only thing it's missing is the steering wheel and the shifter. Good sound, graphics are a bit of a downgrade from the arcade version, but hey, it's a PSP. Easy if you know how to play IDASV3 (the only thing is practicing to be as good as you really are in the arcade version). Only thing that should've been added: ONLINE!!! Yes, this game has multiplayer, but none of my friends have it, and I want SOME kind of competition besides the computer controlled ones. But oh well, IF YOU LOVE INITIAL D AND/OR DRIFTING AND/OR ARCADE RACERS, THIS IS A DEFINATE MUST BUY!!!
PERFECT GAME!!!!!! This is really a very very good game, one of my favorites

There is no substitute This game is awsome altough some of the handling is loose this is exactly the adrenaline fix I needed. I feel like when I battle I can't take my eyes away. I would suggest for anyone willing to try something new. Since I am a HUGE! fan of the show I had to have it and this game did not dissapoint. the tracks, characters, cars and just the feel of the entire game blew me away. A definite must have for any fan

Best Racing Game on PSP A must have for Initial D anime fans & also Arcade Stage ver.3 players!
It has voices too during the battle (unlike the Arcade ver)

best this is a excellent game! all the cars are great and the drifting is excellent!
Snooze-fest Wow! I can't believe it. Usually, I don't stand alone in my reviews! I tend to go with the majority. But this game was so boring. Maybe I"m not a super arcade freak for this game. I have played it from time to time in an arcade here in San Francisco. But this game really bored the hel1 out of me. I'm surprised by all the glowing reviews.
First of all, most folks must not understand the language being spoken. I suppose some folks can understand it. But I can't.
The races: When you race, you're on a dark street all alone, with very little interaction or scenery around you. As Homer Simpson would say: Borrinnng. I honestly thought this would give Gran Turismo Portable a run for its money. But this doesn't even come close! (Hey, when is Gran Turismo Portable coming out? I just looked it up; March 2007, and it was the USA version listed at Play-Asia.) Wow! Can somebody clue me in on who and why this game is so popular?

Great Game Well, this game is great. It is almost arcade perfect.
Easily the best PSP game I've played. This is a very close port of IDASv3, minus the Akina Snow track, and it's brilliant. The only problems I had were control issues thanks to the PSP analog nub, not the game itself.
Very, very addictive game. This is something you will find yourself playing "just one more race" all the time.

Great Game Initial D fans will love it. In addition this one is a very high quality game worth buying. I highly recommend this one. Play the game at hard setting with #5 steering option, it becomes much more fun.

Better than I expected. For a portable version, I'm quite impressed with its graphic. Not the best I have ever seen on PSP(hopefully GT4 is better). If you plan to buy this game, make sure you know what you are doing. I must say, the control is extremely sensitive(for me anyway). And buy Asia version if you don't know Japanese because it comes with a manual in English.

Best PSP Game I've Ever Got! I played the Arcade before and it was fun. I also loved the anime. So i decided to buy the game. Guess what?! I LOVED it! It's really fun just like the arcade. Best racing game I've ever played. The shipping took only one and a half week, it's my fault for picking the slowest shipping.

best game ever made initial d street stage is one of the best game that ever came out for the psp this really is a must have for all you racers out there some people say the controls suck some say it sucks cause its not based on a point system but when i bought and played it the controls are perfect and so what if its based on a card system i dont mind and the gameplay is hella fun feels like your playing from the arcade i recommend buying from playasia.com though cause when they say it'll be there in 5 days and well enough it will come to you in five days i will order from here again no doubt about it plus it has an english manual so it'll make it easy to get through and straight to the gameplay

Excellent racer for the PSP. Initial D: Street Stage is probably one of the best arcade-style racers on the PSP right now. Even for those not initiated with the Initial D license, the game offers fun (and not so realistic) racing with the opportunity to customize your car. For those who are familiar with Initial D, Street Stage is a fairly accurate conversion of Arcade Stage version 3, with some notable omissions (lack of a points system, no snow options). The card collecting system (which replaces the points system) is strange at first, but in no time you'll be aiming to collect them all.
Highly recommended.

best psp game so far.. i just got this game today.and playasia is by far the best import game store that i had shop at.about the game,im a fan since the series started.i love the game from the moment i load it up,and may i say the loading was great.the only problem i found was the card system.i mean it would be nice if u get a deck to mess around with.but all you get are random cards that by any luck you can finaly mod your car.but dont look away from this game due to some minor issue.this game really shine on the psp.a must buy

Why spend a lot of money at the arcades when you have it in your PSP Recomended for all initial d enthusiast. Steering may be awkaward to get used to, but it takes only one day to get used to it. IMO, having a card mode makes you play more to to unlock so much stuff. It's worth the time to play like 24 hours a day lol. You'd want to keep on playing till you full tune your car.
This kinda like IDAS ver. 2.9 because there's no Haruna Snow stage, but it's all good. Maybe it'd be hard to control on the PSP or something lol!

Great game. nuff said. what can I say?, I love eurobeat, I love Initial D, read a lot of reviews on the game, didn't have a PSP, went and bought one just for this game and I don't regret paying a single cent. If you love blowing a bunch of change at the arcade you'll love having the arcade in your hands for free with you at any time
