Latest Firmware needed...
If you have old Firmware on your PSP, and are wondering why you can't get the remote to work... update your PSP to a newer Firmware...

I had Firmware 3.71 on my PSP, couldn't get the remote to work, and thought it was broken... But after updating to 4.01 it finally worked!!!
