for an adventure/role-playing game, the levels generally resemble side-scrolling action games like final fight. the world is interesting and its history is well-conceived. element-based martial arts clans, building martial arts routines are unique and addictive gameplay concepts. the animations of the insane number of moves are also well-done, and the combinations that you can create are seemingly endless. if you don't mind the dated graphics, this game is pretty great.
