Ridge Racers 2 contains 24 courses found in its predecessor, as well as all the courses until R4, to make a total of 42 courses, a record high for the series. Not only drifting feels so thrilling, but the operation is still so easy and simple, and the graphical changes are refreshing as well. Exterior appearances like courses and cars are not only realistic but the sensation of speed has also been increased. In addition, another feature of Ridge Racer is the temporal use of nitro to accelerate after accumulating sufficient charge from drifting. Using this, not only can the winning gap be widened within a short while, but one can also turn defeat into victory in critical times.

Revisit the classics in this Adrenalin packed racer
This is not just a new Ridge Racer game, infact all the race tracks are remakes from Ridge Racer, Ridge Racer Revolution, Rage Racer, Rave Racer, Ridge Racer Type 4, and Ridge Racer V. With some of the original music aswell as remixes and new music made for this game. Gameplay wise, it's not like the classics as you'll notice as soon as you start playing that there is nitro boost, which recharges every time you drift (what a fun concept!). Loads of unlockable cars and extras like videos and retro games. There's even a visual music player, so you can listen to music from the game while watching replays.

Best Ridge Racer for PSP Yet
I just bought this game somewhere else and I must say it is awesome to the max. I have the original as well but I got hooked on the seqel just as fast so i decided to put the original down and continue on with the sequel. It has new tracks and news music as well.
