Ikkitousen: Eloquent Fist is a fighter that includes ample amount of fan service, over 4000 animated cut scenes and is fully voice supported. The combat mode features an action system which allows players to control their characters with ease and the graphics are as high quality as the anime.
Combat is all exciting and such but its the fan service that most people are looking forward to when they play this game. Rip the boss's clothes to shreds as you launch sure kill attacks on them. Aside from the existing cast, the fighter spots original characters and story lines that comes with them. Enjoy portions of the plot that you will see no where else.

Nicest looking beat em up
This game is kinda broken in the gameplay department, but the shear amount of fan service makes up for it.
The sprites are big and detailed. Imagine a Final fight remake, only with hot anime chicks instead of dudes, and you pretty much get the idea.

great beat'em up its main pluses are
+plus+ artwork: one of the best looking beat'em ups in years.
+plus+ characters: over a dozen from the anime to choose from
+plus+ price tag: its from the (best collection) so you know its a good saving.

anyone who seen the anime or read the manga become fans of the series. thou my current favorite anime is Queen's Blade. Ikkitousen is still at the top of my list when i heard this game was getting and 2nd part i knew i had to buy the 1st. I grew up with such beat'em ups like Double Dragon and Final Fight. this game is no disappointment it has serval characters to choose from the series. this is a "+plus+" many old school beat'em ups only had 2 to 4 character most with the exact same moves. ikkitousen has over a dozen thou its true about the game feeling repetitive at times this is the same with all beat'em up.

Great for fans of the series and of beat em ups.
I was interested in this originally just because I am a fan of Ikkitousen, however I was in for a surprise. This game is a side scrolling beat em up like Final Fight, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles The Arcade Game, Burn Knuckle and many others, but really this has something more. It's an easy game to play which isn't all that surprising. Moves are simple and combos only require a few buttons. However it has quite a wide variety of characters to use and each of them can be leveled up. Getting to level 10 even unlocks a second super attack. Unlocking photo galleries and extra characters just requires you to beat the game. In order to get everything you will have to play the game quite a bit. Like most side scrolling beat em ups though you will be repeating the same thing over and over again. If you understand Japanese though you will get the extra benefit of playing through story mode.

Old School Beat 'em Up Fans Rejoice!
Ikkitousen, one of my favorite series for quite a while, falls victim to an addicting game, with hours of replayability. It plays in a style very similar to Streets of Rage and Final Fight, with several characters to choose from, and several more that can be unlocked. The amount of unlockable content in this game (if you are a feature nut like myself,) will keep you playing for days on end.
In essence, you can think of this game as a mix between Final Fight with the unlocking and features of Dynasty Warriors. So whether you are a feature nut, Ikkitousen fan, or just an Old School Brawler, or just want something different from the standard 3D drivvel being released on the PSP, this game is for you.
And don't forget Ikkitousen's trademark exploding clothes, which are featured when performing a super move on a boss. (Please note, don't buy this game expecting nudity. You won't find it here.)
