description
Every Extend Extra (E3) is a mix between Lumines and Rez, both titles developed by mastermind Tetsuya Mizuguchi. Gameplay involves the player blowing himself up in order to try and cause a huge combo. Blowing oneself up takes away from your overall stock, but hopefully the combo is big enough to earn another "life" or two, or "extend" gameplay. There is also a time limit, so one can't just sit idle and avoid wasting stock. There are also power-ups called "quickens," that speed the player up.

E3 isn't too far from its independent roots. The main difference from the original is the music variable. Much like Lumines, E3 progresses via "skins," each one with different backgrounds, speeds, music and sound effects. In addition to that, E3 also adds different explosion types, which can link chains in different ways than in Every Extend. Lastly, E3 adds a "charge" feature. By holding down the explosion button, the bomb is charged. The longer the button is held, the bigger the blast radius.

    No title
Awesome Game, it reminds me of Rez mixed with Geometry Wars, definitely a worthy edition to the many great games out of Q Entertainment, even includes E2 (Every Extend) the homebrew game that started it all on the disk!

    simply amazing
This game has a lot in common with Rez. The great music, incredible challenge, trippy sound effects, and the stylish visual will have you playing this game time and time again. Like Lumines, it takes a while to get used to the game's difficulty; but with practice, you'll be able to score between 3 to 5 million points. Mabye the next game will be made for PS2 or PS3, until then, this game should be on the top of your "must have" list.

One of the best original titles for the PSP!

    great!
The above description sums all the features up very well already. The balanced and addictive gameplay, the inclusion of the original game (one level only, two difficulties), a nice and helpful tutorial and the feature to send a demo version to a friend's psp via wlan round it up. It takes some time to get used to the game's mechanics and the difficulty level is rather high, but it definitely has the "one more go" appeal.

    Go get it!
