A good game!
Field commander is a good game. Good graphics, easy to play and good sound effects, however I preffer ADVANCE WARS from NDS, why? it's more fun....Anyway it's a better tittle at great price.

Very Nice
Being an avid PC strategy gamer, Field Commander was one of the first PSP games I bought. I wasn't disappointed. The campaign is fun and long and the maps are nicely designed so that it's not always enough to just keep churning out units to take out the baddies... one map had a hidden tank that required a coordinated attack from ground and air to take it out. The naval battles have their own problems with submarines lurking about and shallows slowing down the fleet. Field Commander is a very impressive turn-based strategy game for the PSP. The only downside: although the game supports online multiplayer, it's difficult to find anyone online to play with, if you have friends that also have Field Commander then you can coordinate, otherwise you'll just be playing the single player campaign... but I'd give 5 stars for that alone.

FIELD COMMANDER
with the exception of having an incredibly bland title, everything about this game is excellent. there's a great progression in story, difficulty, locations and available units. the gameplay is pretty easy to understand, and the graphics and attack animations are very well done. the main story is fun and long. even still, there are tons of unlockables that you can use in instant action, and you can design your own battle maps, giving this game hours and hours more play after the main story is completed. terrific value!

Great Strategy Game
At $15 you can't pass this up! Field Commander is a great turn-based war strategy game for the PSP. You command everything from air, sea and land units which can capture cities to increase revenue, capture factories to build more units, and capture HQs to defeat opponents. Very fun game!
