Hard protection
The case is really hard and looks kinda stylish.
The only con: it doesn't provide space for UMDs, only space for 2 extra memory cards.

An ok case
It's a good case. To be honest, the back part of the case feels like it's made from much cheaper material than the front. The top is made from a hard airbrushed metal that overall feels right, while the back is made from a cheap plastic. The plastic feels good in your hands, but it's not very strong, and you can easily warp it if you try. I don't like how the top part of the case just swings into a certain position when you open it, and the axel the top case swings on feels cheap. I much prefer the Playgear Pocket Slim, and would highly recommend tracking one of them down if you're in the market for a clamshell case. The amount of protection is a lot better compared to this. Also, the Playgear adds a certain beefyness to the PSP 3000 that makes it more comfortable to play that other cases lack. It also was built with the 2200 MA battery in mind. If you can't find that case, I've heard good things about Sony's knock off of it, called PSP Traveler case. Just trust me, if you see the Playgear Pocket Slim and compare it to this capdase case, the Playgear pocket wins hands down. The only thing the Capdase case has in terms of functionality is you can swap UMD's in and out of it without taking the psp out of the case, which is nice, don't get me wrong, but the door that you have to open to get to the UMD drive feels kinda cheap. It's mechanism for clasping back onto the console isn't bad but it's not amazing, just two little plastic knubs, and when those break you're SOL buddy. However, as I did state earlier, the back of the case is made from nicer material than the front.
So to wrap this up it's not a bad case but I think there are better ones out there. The strap this case comes with is clunky garbage that has a metal tab on the topside that hits your hand and isn't pleasant.

Nice looking case but not entirely durable
This case is nice and sleek-looking but after some time, one of the hinge "bolts" snapped and was irreplaceable. It does the work of protecting the PSP well though I probably wouildn't purchase this case again due to how fragile the hinge turned out to be.

Good Case !
I have been using it for nearly 3 months now, it kept my PSP in good condition & storing 2 SD card is a plus.
Must get if you are intending to protect your PSP from scratch.
