The sound quality is the same as the PSP phat version, the only difference is the remote itself, it's much smaller compared with the old version and buttons are now metallic, including the clip which is now the same size as the remote.

Got these headphones with my PSP value pack
Well, these headphones do the job and the remote works really well. Too bad you cannot power on your PSP with the remote incase you use your device as a portable music player. The only con about this product is that the buds feel a bit cheap, since they are plastic. Furthermore, sometimes they may fall out of your ears very easily.
