Doesn't work! A waste of money....
Do NOT buy this RGB Scart cable for the Sega Saturn. Do not expect to be landed with a 'working' one, despite the same cable reviews on other consoles - Ps2, SNES, etc....this 3rd party manufactured dud happens to be the only cripple of the batch. And it just so happened to be the one meant for Saturn, which is considered to be a diehard's first resort.

As the reviews above stated, the said cable produces out of sync picture. It appears fuzzy, distorted, and flowing - like an incorrect video mode setting...I suspect something wrong has went unnoticed at the factory when they produced the current batch. I'm disappointed to say the least. It didn't cost much and I think i know why.

Don't get me wrong; it's not the TV's fault. Nor is it the Saturn's. My SCART monitor accepts RGB from my DC, NGCD and Xbox without trouble.

Experienced technicians might wanna try their hand at manually re-configuring this Saturn RGB cable- I suspect one or 2 of the pinouts is incorrect. Google 'rgb diagram Saturn' and take pot luck.

DOESN'T WORK ON SNES
The screen stays black or becomes darker and darker...
I tried several TVs, but all of them had this problem.

DON'T BUY THIS STUPID CABLE FOR YOUR SNES, it will simply don't work with newer TVs!

Might not be for you...
After trying it on several of my TVs, I found that it only works on one and with blurred colors.

It seems this RGB cable is kinda picky with your TV set and might not work at all.

At least it´s cheap...

Didn't work
I have an NTSC Commodore 1084 monitor that works with all my other RGB-capable consoles, and is apparently pretty close to the ideal monitor for running the Saturn in RGB. However, when I hooked it up these cables up, the picture is completely out of sync - and there's no manual hold adjustment on my monitor, either, so that's out. I might be able to get it working if I rewired the thing, but then what was the point of buying this cable in the first place? And if there are compatibility issues with this cable, why aren't they listed?

Despite being "gold plated" this cable is actually low-quality one. It is not wired properly. Obviously chinese never bothered to test it. If you experience image jumping and skewing, or black-outs, read how to fix it.
First error: Orange wire should be connected not to the SCART pin 16(BLNK) but to the pin 8(AV/RGB switch). Leave resistor between pins 8 and 16 intact, it is needed to reduce voltage on pin 8 to acceptable level. Some PS2 SCART cables have this wire swapped with ground wire instead :) BTW both mistakes can damage you TV or console.
Second error: composite video signal (white wire connected to pin 20(VIN) ) is connected directly, while proper nintendo composite AV cable has two additional components inside the plug. Disconnect the white wire from pin 21. Connect it through 75 Ohm resistor to the pin 18(BLNKGND) and through 100-200mkF capacitor back to the pin 21( + to wire, - to pin 21).

Perfect for snes
This worked for me perfectly. Gave an excellent clean picture. A big improvements over the composite cables i was previously using. I didn't need to modify the cable either for a PAL snes. :D

Great cable for SNES
Fine cable indeed. Gives a nice picture without noise.
Only con is that sometimes you may need to modificate this cable to get it work with PAL SNES and some televisions, but it may work without it. Luckily, the modification process is very easy to do for even amateurs. (petey's url-link)

If you still use the original RF-cable (for SNES), go and buy this. It's worth of it's price.

a fantastic cable
i have this cable allready for my n64.
the qualty is much better than a/v, no more noise on screen like the a/v cable, with a/v you have on most televisions and in most gamesituations diagonal noise on screen.
unfortunely this rgb cable is not compitable with all there consoles eccept nomal video signal.
enny nintendo console have it,s own rgb cable or you have to moddificate your nintendo console.
but this is a fantastic cable for all nintendo fans

Rquires Modification for PAL SNES
If you plan on using this cable with a PAL SNES then you should know that you need to remove the capacitors from the scart plug, then solder the R G B wires direct to the scart pins. More info here: http://www.mmmonkey.co.uk
