booyeah! i have two us saturns and this little bad boy lets me play all of the japanese goodness flawlessly. i have used for Xmen Vs Street Fighter, Marvel vs Street Fighter, Vampire Savior and Dead or Alive. i had to reseat it once and not push it in all the way and its worked like a charm! get it now!

Very good! But this cartridge does not work with all the games... for PZ Saga you need to remove it... anyway, it's good.

Essential addition for retro gamers! I recently purchased a Saturn, but some of the best games for the system are imports! This device remedies the problems associated with picking up a system these days (low internal memory, region lock-out). If you have a Saturn, you need this device.

Best thing for Sega Saturns If you're very intested in Importing for the Saturn, or don't want to go around your city looking for the certain type of battery, this little gizmo is for you.
It not only acts as a Cheating device, but can handle any save you need done and allows any game from Japan. Highly reccommened.

Action Replay 4M All in one. It is good for your imports and saves. Also some games need extra ram to play so this is really convenient. Also you have cheats that you can use which makes some games fun.

A Must-Have! Unfortunately for us American gamers, the Sega Saturn had a lot of great titles released here in the States, but didn't have it all - a lot of Japanese games that were released are worth owning, but were never given to us because of a myriad of issues between Sega, developers, etc.
We never got a 4M ram cart to play some of the best titles on the system either, and that set us back even further.
With this simple device, you have the world at your fingertips, as it allows you to play import titles AND use the 1M/4M ram switch to play game that require the additional memory to play! Now I am able to play absolute classic jams such as the Japanese imports of X-Men vs. Street Fighter and Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter with no problems whatsoever!
It's nice to take a trip to my past every once in a while, and the Action Replay 4M Auto Plus acts as my passport. If you own a Sega Saturn, you NEED one of these.

No title While i've never gotten one from play-asia, all three of the action replays i've ever owned had died at one time or the other. They are extremely useful for a saturn owner, but expect to have to replace it eventually.

Really nice, works just perfectly!! I received my cart last week, I've been playing with it since then and it just works so fine. Works with all Saturn model without modifications and I tried Metal Slug (1Mo), Marvel Vs. Street Fighter(4Mo), etc...and they all work perfectly. With the auto Ram adjust, it has never been so simple to play imports!!! Better, you should notice a little boost when loading conventionnal games!!

Decent. For PAL saturns, this does not update US/JAP games to 60HZ, reconsider getting this if you are planning on importing fighting games, what the saturn is best known for. 2D games also run with borders.
Ran X-Men vs SF fine, X-MEn:COTA fine, Marvel vs SF had problems with audio and backgrounds loading.

4M I just tested Vampire Savior which requires the 4M RAM and it works flawlessly. I was worried a bit at first because these people were saying that it doesn't work on later releases. I bought this Action Replay from play-asia and they are in fact the 4M ones that work with all games that require the 4M RAM.

Don't believe the other reviews Forget about what these other schmos wrote, all the cards play asia has are the 4MB+ (not just the 4MB ones), and are the last revision, so work with every game.
It works with all imports on all saturns. I have a jap and PAL saturn, and the only problem is that Marvel vs Street Fighter has some graphical glitches on PAL due to it being designed for a 60Hz display.
I have all the games these other reviews are complaining about, and they work fine. These other guys probably have pirate copies - Dungeons & Dragons: Shadow over Mysteria costs over $200 on ebay, so I doubt that guy has a real copy.
So it actually works on 100% of games, and 99.9% are fully playable.

It works buuuuuut Be ready to accept the fact that it might not play import games made in 98 or after 98 but anything before that it works great.You might get a Action Replay cart that is made in 98 or after but thats a big might.

Mine didn't work with Capcom Fighting Games This cart does have 4 megs of saving room for save games, it does have cheats for many games built in, it does act as a Region free device that works fine and lets you play Japanese games on US consoles (and probably European games on US consoles also, though I havent really tried it). But what really really annoyed me is that it was incompatible with Capcom 4 meg games like Street Fighter Zero 3 (Alpha 3) and Vampire Savior. I read that its because some of these carts were manufactured before 1998 and so they have a glitch that dosent work with Capcom 4 meg games, while ones made after 98 do work (both pre 98 and post 98 carts are in identical boxes) so go ahead and buy it, you have no control how old the cart is that you're going to buy, just be warned that you might get an older one and that you wont be able to play the late Saturn era Capcom 2D fighters with it :(

No title A very nice card as all have mentioned above but don't be fooled the ram exspansion does not work with every game that requires it for example Dungeons & Dragons: Shadow over Mysteria does not work with this card!
Still it's an essental purchase for any staurn fan since it works on 75% of the games that i own that require RAM expsansions, good stuff!

If you own a Saturn, consider buying one! This item is amazing. It's the Saturn's "everything but the kitchen sink" card. It gives you a ton of memory for backing up system save files, the ability to cheat, the ability to play import titles, and the ability to play virtually any of the special 1m/4m ram card games. Must have Saturn accessory If you are a Saturn owner, this is the accessory you HAVE to get. The most important function is the built-in 1M/4M RAM card which let's you play all those cool SNK and Capcom fighting games with improved graphics.
Further you also can play import games and not to forget can use the cheat function. If you are a Saturn owner and still like to play some good old classics from time to time, then get this item.
