Necessary for real fans of FF7
A story is never fully comprehensible from one walk through it. With this book, it provides the story about the entire world of FF7, every character, area, item, story point, etc.! I personally liked the timeline at the very beginning of the book that gives a summary of important events before the game actually starts, because the game starts quite like an epic story in medias res, indeed the story is quite an epic one. Make sure to buy this if you liked the story! You will not regret it, and in many ways it will open your eyes to things you did not notice the first time going through the game or perhaps even the second, third, or fourth, etc.!

Unavoidable for FF VII collector
This purchase was very good thing, and I'm very happy that Play-Asia had it!
Of course it's a little bit of a problem that some people can't read japanese, but it's still beautiful book and has stuff that FF VII the game itself never had, as illustrations for weapons and such.

A great addition to my collection
I collect Final Fantasy 7 merchandise (including art books and strategy guides), and this was a fine addition to my collection. It's basically a Japanese strategy guide, but the artwork, screenshots, logos, etc make this Ultimania a great purchase for any Final Fantasy fan! If you're looking for a strategy guide or have any sort of other use for this, please be sure that you can read Japanese.
