A great addition to my collection I collect Final Fantasy 7 merchandise (including art books and strategy guides), and this was a fine addition to my collection. It's basically a Japanese strategy guide, but the artwork, screenshots, logos, etc make this Ultimania a great purchase for any Final Fantasy fan! If you're looking for a strategy guide or have any sort of other use for this, please be sure that you can read Japanese.

Recommended for Japanease Readers This book is the ultimate compendium of everything you ever wanted to know about the FFVII game (but didn't get the info). It tells you about the characters, the in-game history of FFVII, even bits of game script (in Japanese) that you'll see if you chose a certain option.
Also contains in-game secrets, some incredibly rare production art, interviews with the creators and the crazy catalog of weapons and items that appeared in the game. Especially liked the detailed explanation of all the objects and 'interior decor' of every pre-rendered background (even if it's just a crate of oranges)
Incredibly specific and very detailed. If you're looking for large pictures, you won't find many as this is a text heavy book.
This book is only enjoyed to the fullest by Japanese readers. None the less, an amazing fan book.

Complete Guide Of FF7 For Ps Version A Very Great Book For FF7 Fans. Nice Sketches of every armors, weapons, accessories, etc etc. Worth to keep it as a collector item.

Excellent FFVII Book! This was a great buy for me, this book has everything about the game from all the weapons, armor, accessories, items, key items and a full description on all the characters, main and sub characters too. There are sources out there that can translate it, if you have trouble with japanese(me). The sketches are great, it is the ULTIMATE source for this game. Buy it, you won't regret it!

Japanese Get this, if and only if, you can read japanese. I'm sure this is a great source of information to the FF VII game, but thats all it is. There is NOT enough art in this thing to warrant a purchase for fans of the art work. Just a few sketches towards the end of the book. So my review isn't really on the product itself, but as a product for the american Final Fantasy VII fan.
Again, if you can read japanese and fan of the franchise, go ahead and get it. It is, afterall, a really big book for FF VII. But there are plenty of factors as to why that might be that I'd rather not go into.

great book Really cool stuff. Everything is described, from battles to weapons. Lots of pictures and a nice story to Aerith.
This book is a must have for every Final Fantasy 7 Fan.
