I am a monster hunter fanatic and this is a set that is definitely worth the money. The concept drawings are amazing and I am very pleased with the purchase. And, it was shipped even faster than I expected.

Considering you like Monster Hunter very much and admiring the wide variety of armor and weapons, the you definitely should have this book as your collection.

The package come in a quite art-covered-hard box, it's sufficient to hold the two books. The books come in colored and black-and-white. Both contain art works and concepts. The colored one is more to the finished art, while the black-and-white one is covering the basic sketch and early inception of design. Some of the arts come in very extreme forms that I don't think ever get to be displayed on the game.

The books are accompanied with naration, unfortunately you must be fluent in japanese language to fully understand the stories behind the concept.

So the only turn downs are not all of the collection are contained and the language barrier. Hopefully more games come with its version of art book and play-asia to kindly provide them for us.

Monster Hunter Illustrations is absolutely stunning.
It is not possible to regret buying this book, it has everything. Illustrations, Concept art for Characters Monsters, Weapons, sketches and lots of them all.

Absolutely worth it!
I've been considering to get this or not for ages and I'm glad I finally did. Whether it's the monochrome book or the colour book they're both so full of detail that it's just amazing. This is a must get item for any fan of the monster hunter series, there's more than enough pictures of familiar and unfamiliar things from the series to last you for ages!

Fantastic Artbook!
This is easily one of the nest artbooks I've purchased. It's packed full of concept art spanning the 3 PS2 & 3 PSP games. I wholeheartedly recommend picking this up when it comes back in stock.

You get 2 books when you buy this. A rather thick book packed with full colour artwork and a thinner book containing black & white pen & pencil illustrations and sketches.

I just got mine recently.. It got 2 books inside 1 color and 1 monochrome.. inside there are alot of illustration not used in the game!! After all its good.. One of the best illustration book I've ever seen..
