better than my prev multi cable
It's less noisy than my previous multi component cable. The PSP cable should be a bit longer since you are supposed to hold the console in your hands while playing (you might need an extension cable for that). There is no manual and no indication from the manufacturer if it is safe to switch the input while the systems are powered on.

very handy, however...
as soon as i got it and used it twice, the PS2/PS3 connector broke! not impressed.
everything else still works though.

it's very handy to have. i definitely recommend it, but be sure to handle it with care!
hopefully, there's a V4 soon.

Keep waiting for V4
The cable doesn't deliver promised results; it leaves ghosts in the image, the splitting cables are far too short, and the build quality is worse than your standard third party Wii component cable. The best part indeed is the splitter box; it's well built and the switch feels responsive.

It's a sad thing that it is the only solution for one-slot component cables. While they advertise to have "best shielding out there," the shielding is necessary to protect low-quality wire inside. Not even the connections heads are golded, but very subpar steel.

All these should be fixed in the next iteration, as they're very simple and easy to fix.

Nice Cable!!
The cable quality is very good. The resulting image was good too. Unfortunately cable length is very short. It will not possible to use on three or four consoles at once.

Good quality but cable too short
This component cable works very fine but the only prob is each console port is very short!! too short!! Because I cannot put all consoles together with limited space so instead of being able to plug into all consoles, I can only plug in a one or two and I have to unplug them to be able to plug other consoles on far side... so I give its quality 4.5stars while its short length is only 2 stars.

All you need in one.
Really handy and simple to use. As good as HDMI, but has more uses. It should have come with some console specific instructions. For example PS2 didn't have any picture until I changed the video output settings. It would have been nice to have a short guide for those things.

I connected Wii, PS2 and Xbox1 with this cable to 1080p HDTV. Quality is great, I even tested Xbox 360 to see how it compares to HDMI and this XCM cable was on par with HDMI quality. No ghosting, no weirdness, just crystal clear picture on all consoles.

Pros: great picture quality, supports all major consoles.
Cons: too short.

great product! works well. i have many av equipment and a laptop near it but it showed no signs of interference.

This is a nice splitter with component cables that allows you to hook multiple consoles to your TV or TV box, which is great if you don't have a way to separately link the video output of each system: all you need to do to change systems is flip a switch on the main unit. The product is well-made made and seems durable. As other reviewers have pointed out, however, the cable lengths are all extremely short, which means that your TV or TV box and all of your consoles must sit VERY close together in order to use the XCM. Overall, this is a quality product that can save you a lot of space and hassle.

Probably one of the best and most useful products I ever bought. The picture quality is excellent!!! The only gripe is that the cord is a little short to reach all your consoles. Other then that its easily worth every penny. Highly recommended!

Owned this product for a few months now. It is well constructed and I like the fact that it connects via component cables. I do not yet have a tv with HD capabilities so I do not know what the video quality will be like on an LCD tv. It is great for cable management and ease of use when switching between consoles. A little bit on the expensive side, but overall a really great product.

High Quality And Space Saving
This cable is very useful if you plan to run all your consoles on your computer LCD screen through a vga converter. You can just connect all your consoles with it then turn them into a single cable which you can switch around to access each of their video and audio signal.

My only complaint? You have to arrange all your consoles smartly so that they are near to each other other the cable won't be long enough to connect them all :)

Faulty cable
Unfortunately this cable is not what I hoped for. First off, it is defective. Every now and then my TV would lose the signal. I guess it is a loose contact in the switch. I know it is the cable's fault because other component cables I used and still use work fine.

Apart from that the connections going out from the switch to the various consoles are just too short. There's no way that you can arrange your consoles in a manner you like because of this.

Cannot recommend this. Sorry.

Great cable
Great cable but there is problems if you have several consoles plugged and want to use PSP. Cable is too short for playing games. Should be ok for UMD movies. PSP and Wii looked great.

Could not get PS2 working but problem can me with my setup.

Otherwise I've experienced no problems. Definitely a worthwhile purchase!

I do wish however they would add Gamecube and/or Dreamcast support for the next version.
