Component AV Cable Wii Even my mum doesn't believe that it cost less than USD10. Overall it's a very good cable and the quality is close to impressive. Seriously, after playing a while, when changed back to AV Cable, you can sense the graphic quality difference directly.

Play-Asia sent wrong cable but their customer service immediately sent the replacement after my complaint. Again, superb service from Play-Asia.
Great value The quality is more than you can expect for the price. I've had another Wii component cable from another retailer at about the same price, and the shielding was so poor on the other cable compared to this. This cable gives a stable image. And you definitely can see a difference between a component cable versus the standard AV cable, those who can't tell a difference are either using a very small display screen, or have poor eyesight.

Good cable, average quality The quality of this capdase cable Wii cable is solid. The packaging, feeling is much better than the 5~10 dollars one. However, there ain't no any improvement comparing with the normal AV cable included with console. So as long as your original AV cable is working, you should keep using it.

Value for money Certainly a worthwhile component cable for its price and nothing beats playing the PS2 games via component on your LCD :)
Better than regular AV Cables (VALUE FOR MONEY) It is better picture more detailed when you use it on LCD TV. Now i can Enjoy the better pictures / detail for my Wii, even is not as good as xbox360 / ps3 but... really it is better.
If you want the best one, so you must pict the original from Nintendo... if the price is one of your consideration then ...choose this one... simply cheap and quite good product (even not the best one)
3rd Party Wii Component AV Cable Bought it and test it.
Sound: Kind of not bad - can really listen to the sound improvements.
Gameplay Graphics: I tried it on Wii Sports. It has obvious changes, compare to the normal AV Cable.
value for money Really a great improvement from composite cable. It is much clearer and solid colour display. The only problem is getting your cable plug into your LCDTV cause of the bulky head.
But other then that, it is a satisfactory buy. Value for money!
So so... Image quality is excellent on a HD screen, despite the fact no difference can really be told compared to composite display on a SD screen or RGB on a HD one. Bad point is the sound, a bit crappy.

CAPDASE component cables for Wii I have been using these cable over the last month, improvement in picture quality was/is negligible. Now they have ceased functioning. The screen displays only green and black. Have checked the ports and the Wii, it's definitely a cable problem. So avoid, and buy Nintendo originals...

Works Like A Charm I've received this yesterday and I am quite impressed. Though it come only in plastic packaging, the quality of the cable is quite good. I tried it on my standard television set with component input and played NBA Live 08 on PS2 and I was blown with the result. The colors are more vivid and the lines on the graphics are more defined.
I was hesitant to buy this because of the negative reviews they have on this but I took a gamble and it paid off. The quality is good and the price is a steal.

Cheap and good Great cables.
Using this to connect my ps2 to my LCD TV. Display is in 480i. Much clearer than using the AV cable.
For those complaining of poor quality connecting ps3, this is MEANT for PS2. PS3 uses HDMI for best result. This cable is GREAT for PS2.

Cheap and GOOD Well done. This cable is cheap and good. Using this cable, game is displayed in 480i, definitely better than the normal AV cable. Get this. No regrets.

the normal RGB is very blury, this Component will help have the full resolution on your Wii system!

very chip and not good I bought and used on my ps3 with SD TV. Sometimes I have not seen the yellow colour on my screen. Especially parasites were on my screen when I decrease or increase the light of room with regulater. Then, I bought the original component cable of Sony, it is great quality... No parasites, more clear colours...

i've tried this cable and i have to say that i'm not satisfied with it
the cable came without any box or packaging, and the cable itself has loose ends, like the head of the cable came off easily
and the image that is produced has no difference whatsoever with normal AV cable

Very good, but be careful. This product is good but...
This cable is for HD games (480p compatible, like guitar hero II). If you use it with a game that isn't compatible with 480p mode on a LCD TV, the quality won't be the best. BUT that will be the best quality you will reach on a LCD TV with NON-COMPATIBLE 480p GAMES.
People who has played games on a HDTV with a traditional cables (compose or RGB) probabily know what i'm talking about. The PS2 was not initially designed for LCD TVs :(
Note: I don't know if the plasma TVs has the same problem.

Component AV Cable Very good and satisfactory. It shipped and came without any problems and on time. But i have disappointed with cable length. Its written as 2.5 meter in the features of product but it came as 1 meter. I need an extension cable now. I reccomend all PS2 users. But dont forget before connecting component cable change component setting of your console. Thanks play-asia.com.
Good quality Makes a big difference at 420p. My only gripe about these cables are RCA cable lengths aren't adjustable. So I have to buy an extension for it to work with my sound system.

Somewhat noisy compared to the Sony cables I've got an official Sony cable as well and the difference between the 3rd party and the official cable is quite alarming in terms of picture quality, the 3rd party cable being a lot noiser (rather blurry even on a PS3 @ 1080i). Not too bad considering it's price but if you have an LCD TV or a large screen you're better off looking for something better. I'm using this for my PS2 (the official one goes to the PS3 instead).

Excellent cable Bought this cable in late December 2006 to hook up my Wii to a Samsung LCD HDTV. What a great improvement in picture sharpness and color clarity from the composite cables that came with Wii. Have been using these cables for 3+ months now with no complaints.

Highly Recommended Cheap cable but still very good. Picture was great. Colors and text are way more clearer compared to the av cables bundled with the PS2. A must buy for anyone with a PS2.

Buy this cable! I bought this cable a while ago and i am very impressed with it, however i always had a nagging doubt that the official cable would be better. So i bought an official cable and have to say that there is no difference in image quality. So save yourself £14 and buy this cable don't waste money like i did!
Excellent price and quality - a must if you have an HDTV Especially in games that are text- or detail-heavy, these component cables enhance your experience so much. You may not appreciate the increase in quality since it seems insignificant at first, but you begin to appreciate it more during extended play when attempting to save your vision when reading fine text or distinguishing small objects/details. This was definitely a great buy - other component cables of the same or worse quality can run you $30 - $60. I'm playing Zelda and other progressive scan GCN games, and I think it's a steal to get these cables at that price.

Woderfull This cable is very nice. I don`t have HDTV, but in my TV the PS3 games look amazing.
Exceptional and Inexpensive Great cables, They work flawlessly and display a beautifully smooth 480p picture. Zelda looks great on my 32''inch HDTV now, all thanks to these cables. Nice cable I'm from the Netherlands and received the cable a day after Christmas.
The screen is much better. No blurry colors or crispy text, just a very neat and clear picture.
However, please note that it is not possible to insert the 2 audio pins in another device, because you can not extract the two audio pins far enough. I bought an extension to connect it to a dolby set. Just for you information.
superb quality I live in The Netherlands and the cable arrived within 4 days!! The quality on my 32" is much better now. colourfuller and more detail. I definitely recommend this cable. I also bought the Y Pb Pr power box and it works very well together with 3 other YUV devices.

The overall quality of the cables is great, image quality is improved across the board. Much sharper and more vibrant images.
One thing some might not like is that they come in a sealed plastic bag, no official box or wrapping of any kind.
I asked for mine to be posted in a cardboard box, which it was, it was also bubble wrapped for protection. But there was no official wrapping on the cables at all.
Not really much of an issue since you would throw out the official wrapping anyway.
These are great quality cables, well worth the price.
BEST WAY TO GO!!! Tested these cables and the official Nintendo cables, on 2 different Wii units. Side by Side on two 32 Inch WS LCD HDTVs by Westinghouse they both give the SAME results.

Very good I have a Samsung 56" DLP & Sony 37" LCD. The regular nintendo wii composite cables are horrible looking. My friend brought his official nintendo wii component cables & the difference was night & day but I looked at a 3rd party solution since the official cable is expensive. These cables do compare well to the official wii cables, I would say most people couldn't tell a difference. These cables were slightly better than the madcatz ones my cousin had. So me, my friend, and my cousin all agreed that these cables are the best for the money. However, one slight caveat is that the shipping will take a while to get to you from hong kong.
Buy It Why pay an extra 25 EUR when this is available? The cable gives a much sharper image and better colour.

Very good for the money, just don't expect offical quality. Received this cable today & have been giving it a good test. It's a big step up over composite & great value for money at this price.
However, don't be fooled thinking this cable will produce the same picture as the offical Nintendo component. I hooked this one up on the Wii & my official Nintendo component cable on the Gamecube, comparing Resident Evil 4 480p on both consoles there is a clear difference. The Gamecube(with official cable) produces a much crisper picture with increased lighting detail, this budget Wii component cable looked alot more washed and slightly blurry in comparison, almost like the difference between this cable on the Wii & the supplied Wii composite cable.
If you didn't have the official component cable for your Gamecube running 480p you'll almost certainly be delighted with this cable, if like me you did though, you will probably notice the stepdown & I suggest you pay the extra for the official Nintendo Wii component cable.
Wish I'd had this advise before buying, will now buy the Nintendo cable myself, ah well ;-)
Component AV Cable 3rd party For the price how can you say no. Don't buy one here in the Uk as they are £15 or £20 & they will be no better than this one.
Stunning Makes a huge difference to in-game graphics. Texture detail is so much sharper now. Not much clearer in the Channel menu, but its not really a mojor thing now is it?

Excellent Just bought this, and the difference between this and Composite is amazing. If you have a component connection on your TV and a PS2, you need to buy this. And if you only have 1 component connection, buy the Farmer component splitter too.
Can't beat it for $13! Got mine today and hooked it up. Can definitely tell the improved texture definition when you set the Wii to HD 480p. Tried it with Wii Sports, and the people who stand on the sides in the tennis game look ALOT better, and you can tell they're standing on grass now. Excite Truck also looks a lot better. Can't beat $13 for this cable!
awesome at first I bought the cable cause I thought it woud improve the resolution like a 10%, when I first used it I was shocked cause it mades a great diference, it improves resolution like a 25%, I recomend it, if you can, buy it :D

Hmph Got it today, and while it does let you play with a sharper picture (Wii Sports is a LOT sharper), I strangely found my Virtual Console titles unplayable. Well, just Solomons Key to be precise, as that's the only VC game I have. When I start it up, the screen is filled with green static. Oh well, everything on the VC can be played for free on your PC anyway. ;)
To sum it up: have a HDTV, don't care about the VC? GET THIS.

Works Fine on UK Wii Excellent cable,bargain compared with the offical product. It works fine on my UK Wii. Don't forget to switch to HDTv/480p mode in the Wii setup menu.
Got them in today!! Started up a GC game and it asked me if I wanted to run in progressive scan. Clicked yes and the screen came back up crystal clear :)
