Over HD television provides an incredible picture.

Had this cable for quite sometime now and rarely plays up. Thought ide warn others to grab a better one tho. Flickers every now and then, not the end of the world but doesnt play ps2 at all (everything else fine, pisses me off coz I still havent finished final fantasy 7). And lastly I thought the sound was good myself but I better check if its playing in mono n ill get round to changing it when im feeling less poor, even if I played through dead space not noticing a thing lol.

ok, but too short a cable
ive had this for more than 6 months while and it has served its purpose. its still working but i changed to an ypbpr power box as i got tired of having to go behind my tv each time i wanted to change from one console to another as the cable from the switch to the consoles is WAY too short. because of that i only give it three stars.

After one year using this cable, I found out that it only produces MONO SOUND!!!
Yes, I had problems with the game GH3 on ps2 that I did not hear some sounds from the game. After changing to my old cables, the problem was fixed. This cables only produce mono sounds, so stay away of it if you want STEREO.

I'll give it 3 stars, because it isn't any wrong with the picture :D

Intermitent parasites
Some parasites occurs (have to switch between consoles to have a clearer image when the problem appears) when playing on Wii or Ps2. Too bad because it was a good idea :-(

It's ok for its price
This cable is ok for its price, but just don't think of the quality of official cables. Sure this product make better picture than standard av cable, but still you will see some noise, especially it is visible on black screen.

I guess the 3 in 1 and cheap price was too good to be true.
Maybe it was just the one I got, I don't know. For several months this product was working great. I loved it. I didn't bend or damage the cables in any way. However, I noticed a couple of weeks back that the picture would begin messing up. Didn't matter which system I had it switched to, it all came out the same. At first it started with white diagonal lines flickering all over the screen. It was annoying, but it didn't really bother me that much. But today, while playing music on my 360, the screen got the white lines again, but this time the entire picture itself was starting to jerk around making things harder to see. Most of the time it's fine, but now and then is when things screw up, and the only thing I do is flip the switch whenever I play different systems.

Great cable
My consoles are all next to each other in the cabinet, so had no problems with cable length.

PS2 (PAL) didn't work the first time i tried, think it may be the TV expecting a progscan signal (using a Panasonic CRT that does 480p through component)... i'll try again & play with the TV settings.

Wii & 360 work flawlessly, and quality is great. I can't tell the difference between the signals from this cable & the individual official component cables (and i'm very fussy with things like picture quality). Great job XCM, highly recommended!

Can't be used
The quality of it is so bad. It can be used for my PS3. But there's no pictures when using XBox360.

Works excellent but could be longer...
The cable works great but needs to be about a foot or two longer. I have my consoles on the top of my older rear-projection HDTV and the cable barely reaches from the back of the TV up to plug into the consoles. Picture and sound quality are great though!

Simply Superb
Works a treat with my Wii/360/PS3 setup. I can't fault the picture quality, it's great.

The only real downside is the length of the cable. It's quite short, meaning the consoles & TV have to be reasonably close together.

That aside it's quite a bargain for the price.

Maybe, i was just buying into the hype of component av, but honestly, people are correct you do get a sharper picture but do you want to know what else it does?

When trying on PS2 It highlights every jaggie on your game and makes them much more clearer, making games look ugly, for example .hack//g.u now looks like Lego when Haseo is on the screen, well his character

Granted i used on a large HD Screen, but this feels more like a waste of money then anything else, yeah composite cables sucked, but at least they didn't make my games now look ugly lol.

Anyway maybe it was just my cable, but this feels more like a waste of my time and money, going back to normal cabling, before anyone thinks its my TV, i can play the PS3 beautifully with HDMI which looks amazing.

Great solution
I am using this cable for my Wii and 360 so I don't have to keep swapping round component cables and the image and audio quality is just as good as the official cables. If I hadn't plugged this in myself I wouldn't have noticed the difference. Just one small thing; the image flickers off for a second then back on around twice an hour. Has anyone else had this problem? If it was a DVD or something I wouldn't care, but with games sometimes a single second can be crucial.

Works well with my PS2 and 360. The cable splitter is rather short. Gotta put my ps2 and 360 side by side.

Really better than factory cable !
Used with a Pal PS2 (Europa), the image is sharper, and specially the texts are finally clear.
The difference seems to be more effective if you use a HD screen, since the source is better with this cable, the upscale is better.
Not expensive, works (but not tested) on all consoles but Gamecube.
However the cable is quite short, and the 3 connectors on the console side are very near each other.

What you say is full of crap.

Let me start by pointing out my setup. PAL xbox 360, Pal PS2, Pal wii. Now aside from some ps2 issues not related to the cable. (small screen due to poor upscale, pathetic support for prog-scan) each console looks incredible, easily matching the official cables (I had official ps2 and xbox 360) so you can be assured that you're not buying junk. Just a shame that there's no gamecube component though ;) (stupid nintendo one costing £40!!)

Worth every penny!
This cable is perfect for me. It works perfectly with both my Wii and PS2, it's a pretty big upgrade over the standard A/V cables, even on my SDTV. The cable itself is a little bit shorter than I would have liked, but that's an extremely minor quibble when compared to the fantastic value. This is THE cable to get for multiple console owners.

If you've got a high end TV with a component input, and more than 1 console then getting one of these cables is simply a no brainer. Get the best possible picture on all your consoles.

I've now completely eliminated the need for any bulky scart leads!!

Does What it Says!
Package came in great shape! The cables seem to do a great job so far! Right now I'm using them to hook up my Ps2 and Wii. I haven't used component cables for my systmes before, but the image looks incredible. So far I've tried FFXII (Ps2), Madden '07 (Wii) and Zelda: TP (Wii). All the games look great!

Wish I'd never spent the money!
Our TV only has 1 component-in, plus the Wii doesn't look great over scart, so thought we could kill 2+ birds with one stone with this practical-looking cable.

Now the Wii /does/ look better (and so it should simply going 480i -> 480p!!) but the image quality on the 360 is noticeably worse. Crisp 720p & 1080i become a fuzzy disappointing experience, almost looks like the screen is out of focus!

Forget "high end cables" I would at least expect this to match the performance of the bog-standard MS component cable that comes with the console, but it doesn't even come close :(

Also, as others have pointed out, there isn't much slack between the individual leads, so in our case there's no hope of reaching the PS2 on the shelf below the 360 & Wii.

A real shame, but I have to say: save your money!

Great product, fair price!
Purchased this to eliminate my "cable masakre" beyond my AV rack. Atm I run it on my brand new Nintendo Wii and my good old PS2, works PERFECT on both. Only thing you have to do (if you'r still composit user) is to switch your PS2 video outpot to YPbPr or it would'nt work. For the Wii no special settings have to be made but maybe you should (or have to?) switch TV mode to 60 Hz 480p (you'll find these settings in the Wii config menue).

Quality is just as it sould be > VERY NICE and the price is even nicer. Highend cables may be better but even MUCH MORE expensive and it's not worth it for playing console games (imho).

So if your lookin' for a simple and great way to solve picture quality AND cable problems with your actual gaming units > GET THIS!
