description
For the soundtrack of the sequel to the action hit "Söldner-X: Himmelsstürmer", Rafael Dyll has returned to the studio to compose, arrange and produce high energy electronic hymnes, inspired by classic soundtracks from the golden shooter days. The 28 completely new music tracks featured in "Söldner-X 2: The Final Soundtrack" ignite new hooklines, placing symphonic elements amidst wholly new soundscapes and sporadically even returning to the melodies that made the original game's soundtrack so memorable.
Recorded and produced in Germany, mastered at Popmusic.dk studio in Copenhagen, the new CD features all tracks found in the PlayStation®3 game "Söldner-X: Final Prototype" and features CD TEXT support, displaying track list information on compatible players. This Audio CD can also be played on any other standard compact disc player.

Nice soundtracks
I bought it just for curiosity and i have to admit that the soundtracks are very well done, if you like tecno music this is the cd for you even if you never played the videogame.

A 2nd Great one
As with the first title, this soundtrack is great and a must for those who liked the games.

Improvement from Himmelsstürmer
This is game music that actually sounds like game music, instead of big blockbuster Hollywood movie (the likes of Hans Zimmer are now doing game soundtracks too). Dyll's sound takes me back to the golden years of gaming. I own the Himmelsstürmer soundtrack too, and i think this is definitely the better one of the two.

An epic journey through the universe
I truly enjoyed this soundtrack & soaked up the sound from every track. I really felt as if I was travelling in a spacefighter with an epic quest to explore lost alien ruins, dead solar systems, vibrant planets & sprawling megalopolises.
I really feel that Rafael Dyll made huge improvements over the Soldner-X release. I highly recommend this to anyone who loves epic & upbeat space-infused techno/ambient music.

Dyll's Best Soundtrack yet
When i received the final prototype soundtrack i new i wasn't going to be disappointed. Ive played the game before and i was blown away from the music.
What to expect? Well..Powerful, colorful heroic themes only dyll can provide. The ones i liked the most are the berzerkers. (when your ship is in trouble and all available power is channeled through your weapons).
If u like minimalist tecno (I barely know it my self) then
u are goin to love it.
if u don't like tecno then u re also goin to love it.
Bottom line..A work of art
Bravo Rafael
