Good album, but not what I expected. I love Tomosuke's work in DDR and beatmania a lot, for his music is absolutely phenomenal and beautifully written, clearly the work of someone with talent.
Needless to say, I love this CD, but then, you might ask, why the 4-star, instead of a 5-star, rating? Because I was not expecting as much jazz-like remakes of the in-game counterparts.
Now I don't know much (if anything) about songs like CHOCOLATE PHILOSOPHY or Twinkle Star or Infinite (for example), but I do know that MOBO*MOGA (not actually on the Re-Edition, by the way, it got replaced by another song...) and LOVE IS ORANGE were not originally jazzy, they were Electro Bossa (or something to that effect) and Hard Chanson, respectively. Kago no Tori stays true to the in-game, as does IMPLANTATION, though Marmalade Reverie (which I like the jazziness change to this song) and Brazilian Anthem (which I don't enjoy the change quite as much) are slightly altered.
That being said, enjoy this album, but understand that not every track may be exactly as you expect to it to sound.

good albeit quirky album I actually bought the first edition of "Marble" through a friend off the official Konami site, but it seems this re-issue is the same product.
I've owned a ton of Bemani soundtracks and this is easily one of the better, if not the best. It features primarily different kinds of jazz but also dabbles in J-pop, electronic, techno, and a few international styles. Overall a very fun, eclectic listen. The run from track two to track six is especially great and showcases Tomosuke's proficiency for jazz composition.
The singing throughout suffers from heavy studio effects, accents, and/or nonsensical English lyrics, but I assume if you're considering buying any Bemani album you already know that.
$42.90 plus shipping is very pricey for a lone album, but it's near impossible to find anywhere else and a necessary if not defining addition to your Bemani collection.
