Black Cherry Girl - Koda Kumi She did it! Yes she did it again! She amke so AWESOME album, on which every song is a hit! I think it's my favouite KUU's album! Before it realise it was BEST ~second session~, BUT Black Cherry beat it for me. There's my favourit song on it - Yume no Uta. my favourite ballad from all I've heard. It's so beatufull, I just can't find words to describe it...
BUT there is no only Yume no Uta, Koda did it again 'cause this album is all different. Mid-Temp Pop songs like I'll be there, Rock-Pop songs like Cherry Girl, Ballads like Unmei, Sweet pop songs like Koi no Tsubomi, R&B like JUICY, Hip-Hop like WON'T BE LONG ~Black Cherry~ version.
Album sales for today is almost 1 500 000 copies!! Also 95% if the songs was main themes for TV & Movies.
In this edition not only one DVD with adorable PV's BUT also first Kodas Kumi movie - Cherry Girl!! It's very fun comedy/drama/action. KUU did it even in her movie! She combiens so many stiles, like in album itself!
I advice you to buy this version 'cause of GREAT Koda Kumi movie.
Only one thing dissapoined me, that Cherry Girl Movie didn't carry any subtitles & it's also impossible to find it online... That's bad, BUT it wasn't KUU's falt, so I'll as usual gives KUU stars 'cause she desreved it again!
P.S.: Koda Kumi have got two awards from MTV World Music Award Japan 2007: "Best female Video" & 'Best video of the year" for Yume no Uta & it's alredy 2nd year she's getting it! Last year it was Butterfly!!

Black Cherry She may be the best-selling female singer in Japan, but Japanese bombshell Kumi Koda has her detractors. First, she was voted the second most unhip artiste by netizens. Then, her name also topped the online poll for "artistes you wish would disappear in 2007". Some netizens said Kumi, 25, was merely selling sex by dressing provocatively, while others found her antics embarrassing. Some even called her "shame of Kyoto", referring to her hometown. But nothing, it seems can slow Kumi down.
Barely a month after launching her fifth studio album, Black Cherry, she announced that she would release three projects in March: A new single, a compilation album and a concert tour DVD. Unlike her past sexy covers, Kumi has gone for a covered-up, black widow look for Black Cherry. But the fans don't seem to mind. More than 920,000 copies of the album sold in Japan within a month and hogged the topspot on the Oricon chart for four consecutive weeks.
But her top-selling album yet is last year's Best-Second Session. It has sold a staggering 1.76 million copies in Japan to become the best-selling female album last year. Kumi herself seems satisfied with her achievements. She told Oricon Style magazine: "This is my sixth year in showbiz and also the year that I've grown the most."
Very Nice This is a good album because Kumi experiments with all sorts of different genres of music. I definately have to give "Puppy" and "Cherry Girl" my vote for the best songs on here.
