    Wow...
As someone who grew up playing shooters years ago, I'm still relatively new to all the great shooters that still come out of Japan. All I have to say is, "Wow"! I've seen some heavy duty shooters before, but the amount of enemy fire in this game is insane! If the other Cave games are like this, then I'm looking forward to getting more of them ASAP!

If you love shooters, than this game is deffinately for you. I just recieved mine last week and have been playing ever since.. I freaking love this game... Its one of the hardest shooters out there.. Graphics and sounds are subherb.. The bosses are the freaking size of the stages... You must try this game out...

yet another cave shmup worth owning!!!
at first glance caves mushihimesama seems to be just another 2d shmup but as we are all aware of by now cave never creates a mediocre game. the use of 2d coupled with 3d creats real depth in the environs. a particularly shinning example of this is lvevel3(i think, lol) where you fight a giant insectoid boss(insects in this game???) that not only encompasses the entirety of the screen but ends up being the length of the entire leve!! this boss instead of looking like layed parellax actually appear to have depth. i guess we should expect nothing less from our friends(and my personal 2d saviors) at cave. i could continue forever.....but wont. buy this game without hesitation!!!! especially at that cheap cheap price!!!

    Mushihime Madness
This game is mental, i'm a huge fan of CAVE shooters and this feels just great to play, Just check out the insane plasma blossoms on the arrange mode, The comment above about bleeding eyes is correct, An awesome package which has to played on TATE mode on a big TV...excellent

Damn, this game is little difficult. Dodonpachi 2 is easier.
Shoot the bugs, worms flies and insects while marvellous landsape scrolls. Cave style bullet patterns. insane bosses. Im normally into tech-things bosses, didnt thought i could ever enjoy so much shooting the bugs. Before buying check the number to the asylum near you. Heave fun Daioujou ;)

    Mushihimesama has finally arrived!
First up thanks to play asia for a great service - I couldn't believe how fast my order arrived

As for the game it's another slice of Cave goodness, blurry bullet hell and music to make your spine tingle and your teeth grit with determination. I like the route that both this and the previous 'Espgaluda', are practicing: a slightly more user friendly approach. I consider myself to be good at shooters, but playing Dodonpachi-Dai-ou-jou is utterly ridiculous after a point. Mushi on the other hand gives you a chance to really find that shoot-em-up zone, coasting through waves of bullets for a fair amount of time rather than the frustration of exploding at repeating intervals.
Go for this game and stick your TV (or head) on the side because when it's in Tate mode it looks identical to the arcade! >_0

This game is great lots of bullets very nice looking and well animated spirits. If I had the money I would buy the arcade PCB. The game over all is fairly easy until you play on Ultra. Playing Ultra you get an extra boss to fight, which is very hard.

    Mushihimesama review
Excellent port of this great shmup, everything the arcade version is and more.

One of the more accessible shooters from Cave with difficulty modes for the uninitiated such as original mode (still a good enough challenge to clear on one credit), maniac mode and ultra mode for the hardened fan. But be warned this mode is not for the faint of heart, It will make your eyes bleed from the purple bullet storm that ensues!

All in all a great package with Galleries, practice modes, arrange modes and an array of auto fire functions for you old timers out there with arthritis.

This one will keep you busy for a long time......Have fun!

Thanks to Play-Asia for providing such a valuable, hassle free service and getting orders out to us at breakneck speed.

    Mushihime-sama ROCKS.
Holy schnikes, if you're any kind of serious shooter fan, you NEED to get up on this pronto. Brilliant enemy designs, those addictive Cave bullet patterns we all know and love, great music, its the kind of game the die-hard 2D enthusiasts lust after.
What are you waiting for?!? Grab it.
