I love this game since SS version. This game same as older version and STG lover must have!

One of the best ps2 games
Thunder force is the best long running shooter series, and thunder force 6 is one awesome game.

Seeing it on preorder, before I got it,shocked me, because I and many others have been waiting more than 10 years for this.

One of the best things about the thunder force series is the bosses, and this game is no exception. There are a couple of bosses from previous games, and seeing them again on a ps3 is awesome.

Great for fans of the series and fans of shooters, or anyone who likes a good challenging game.

Keep 'em coming Sega :)

For all shooter fans.
I can't say much more than others who have already reviewed this, except to say that TF6 is suitable for shooter fans of all abilities.

The 5 difficulty settings offered mean that all will find a level of challenge that will entertain. Completing the game opens a new ship type which greatly increases the challenge, hoping there are more, but unknown at the moment (for default settings, not sure if lower levels will do this).

To close, this feels like a TF game and shows that there's still a little bit of the Sega spirit left. I thought it had died years ago. Hopefully Sega will be able to find a niche customer base with this type of game and give us a few more classics.

ThunderForce VI
I grew up with the Thunderforce series and waited ten years for a sequel to the Sega Saturn classic and this one doesn't disapoint.Its a fantastic addition to the series very stylish (as usual) has a great soundtrack and technically brilliant.Its hard ,whats new :-)but thats TF VI for you. I have one moan and that is Its too short but if you are a fan or like The Gradius series or R-type then buy this game you won't be disapointed.

After "Broken Thunder" this game can be considered a blessing. Initailly too easy, but this can be fixed by changing the difficulty or using different ships. In fact the game corrects alot of its faults by giving the player the ability to adjust settings. Changing from Phoenix to Rynex is a kick in the teeth. Filled with lots of fan service and nods to earlier installments, Thunder Force 6, will be a delight to true fans of the series and novices to shmups. If you hear any negative comments, tell those people to get a life and stop trolling. The first person I witnessed to state a negative comment also stated " Duuur , The game is too easy, I put it on kids and kept using continues...".
Don't be like this. Buy the game. Overlook its few short comings, and if they are a problem, raise the bar. Great Game!!! Support project S.T.G. The fate of a new Fantasy Zone and Space Harrier hang in the balance.
