詳細描述
While Giga Wing 1 & 2 were still ported to Sega's Dreamcast in 99 and 2001, the Type-X board Arcade masterpiece Giga Wing Generations has finally found its way to PlayStation2.
The game features an excellent conversion with its original score attack mode. The options menu lets you set the difficulty, number of players as well as the key configuration. Newly added has been a counterattack that can be performed on your enemies as well a 2 player mode.

yes After getting over the initial shock of a full-price game on a blue disc, the game itself is good.
It didn't feel like the original GW, a big fave of mine, the graphics are different, the intro was like Raiden's (PS release - with the whole 3D flight sequence thing going on), which are fine in themselves but they don't fit the games. Music sounds GW style.
The most GW part so far is Grouse's force weapon - that is the look. In keeping with shooter tradition*, Grouse is also the most confusing ship to play with, it launches all kinds of spherical looking shots. But it was fun.
*if you have ship options, a proportion of them must feature power-ups or shots that confuse the player by filling up the entire screen with bizarre-looking shots, or alternatively, add extra ships to the player with similarly confusing results. These ships must also have extremely desirable features.
