One of the films I use to introduce new people to Hong Kong films. Hysterical and totally politically incorrect, although repressed audiences may not get some of the jokes or be too amused.
Broad slapstick alternates with Pythonesque random humour and moments of genuine poignancy. The fact that he plays so subtly between and even during the outrageous moments, shows his genius.
