This controller is quite a dreamcaster!
The SEGA Dreamcast controller has many great factors when it comes to controller design.

It's comfort is very similar to the Gamecube controller and it fits in the hands very well.

The Dreamcast controller was the first to introduce the triggers that you now see on the Xbox, they allow for variable range which offers new capability for controls meaning that games can be controlled differently.

The face buttons, Thumbstick, D-pad and Triggers have been placed very well and like the Gamcube controller and they are easy to reach.

The triggers have come a long way such as offering better controls for FPS games and many would agree that the triggers are better than shoulder buttons because of their feel and rapid ease of pushing them down.

Get 'Em While They're Cheap !!!
Even with postage to Europe this is an absolute bargain. Official Dreamcast controllers are becoming rare so if you want to get a couple of spares now's the time !.

You're not going to find an official Sega controller at this price anywhere else, so you better snatch some up quick. The controllers came new, in box, in great condition. They have the European blue swirl, so if you're OCD about that kind of thing you may want to think before you buy, otherwise I'd highly recommend you purchase some of these.

Works on JP DC!
I purchased 4 of these the other day, since they were much cheaper new that you can find even used in Japan.

When they arrived, I was a bit worried because the box says that they only work with PAL (European) Dreamcasts. However, I can confirm they DO work with NTSC:JP (Japanese) consoles as well, which leads me to assume you can use them on NTSC:NA (North America/USA) systems with no problems.

Also of note, since they are PAL versions, they have a blue swirl in the logo above the VMU window, not an orange/red one like the other regions. Pretty cool if you ask me!

Dreamcast is an old machine, youd be hard pressed to find brand new controllers elsewhere for a price as low as what play-asia has done

what if you see yourself as a hard core user of the dreamcast, and your controller breaks down, or refuses to work, it would suck right?

then why not buy one from here and keep in reserve,incase the worse happens
