- Graphics Sub-system: NEC PowerVR Second Generation (rendering capacity of more than 3 million polygons per second).
- Sound Processor: Yamaha Super Intelligent Sound Processor (simultaneously articulates 64 voices) with 3D environmental audio effects.
- Operating Systems: Customized Sega OS. Dreamcast is also designed to run a custom flavor of Microsoft Windows CE, and will display the official WinCE logo at startup if the game that's running utilizes it.
- Memory: 16MB main memory, 8MB video memory, 2MB sound memory. Total system memory: 26MB.
- CD-ROM Drive: 12x (Maximum) proprietary Yamaham GD-ROM (Gigabyte Disc) capable of holding up to 1GB of data.

Verry good machine with verry good game, SF 3 THIRD STRIKE, BANGAI-O, IKARUGA and many others.

i have all the consoles, i love this the best
i own a ps3,ps2,ps1,wii,gc,n64,superfamicom,famicom,saturn, pc engine,xbox etc. and this is my favorite console of all time. the games, the gadgets, it was a technological marvel in its heydays. i miss sega alot, hope they will make consoles again in the near future :)

The BEST CONSOLE EVER
By far The Sega Dreamcast is the best game console ever due to the fact that it comes with alot of really great titles...Forget the newer gen consoles like the Wii,Xbox 360 and Playstation 3,THE DREAMCAST IS STILL THE BEST THERE IS!!

there is no console better than the dreamcast!
this 128bit power house may not be getting much attention nowadays but doggonit its sttill the greatest so take a hammer to your playstation and order this great console. infinity stars!!!!!!
