Into the melee steps Jake Barett, an ex-cop with formidable strength and skill, but tormented by the memory of a tragedy on his beat. To help finding a missing teenage gang member, Barett finds himself back fighting crime on the street of Los Angeles. Barett is inexorably drawn into the fight, as the odds stack against him.
