Karou comes from the young Japanese developer MileStone. Milestone has been responsible for two other recently released Dreamcast shooters -- Chaos Field and Radilgy. Both titles were also ported to Gamecube and PlayStation2 later on.
Karous - which translates to 'Crow' in English - looks similar to Chaos Field and especially Radilgy, using many of the same gameplay mechanics of both games and featuring some of the cell-shading style used in Radilgy. The game is about a girl born of a union between an angel and a human. She gets firepower by gaining equipments like a sword, shield and guns. The graphics stick to the basics black and white palette of colours to give the game a gothic feel.

great shmup
This game is amazing, the cel shaded graphics look beautiful and the soundtrack is the best shmup soundtrack I've heard so far. Definately worth the money! The only small thing I do not like is the bullets which sometimes blend in with other things and are hard to see. Great service from play-asia as always!

No title
This is a good entertaining game. I loved the cell shaded look, as unlike other games it has been used in, it works in this one. Like Trigger Hart Get this before it is gone. it is well worth the money.

doesn't set the world on fire, but solid. 3.5 stars
I really hope this isn't the last Dreamcast game, but if it is I suppose we could do worse (Like Last Hope) The game plays exactly the same as Radirgy, and features the same un-detailed CEL shading. If you liked Radirgy, you'll like this. If you didn't, you won't. Simple as that.
