Played it and didn't sleep till I finished it. This game is sooo good. Feels like RE4 but only better. And it ties up a lot of loose ends from the RE story. Everyone ...[更多...]

Fans that pick up the PC version will be the first to experience stereoscopic 3D out of screen effects that actually affect gameplay. You will have to be be more accurate as motorcycle manjini, Chainsaws and tentacles pop out of screen and into your living rooms. Infected Majini coming at players from every angle, dust flying in and out of screen and the scariest bosses to date are taken up a notch. Resident Evil 5 PC is a whole new dimension of fear players will never forget. The game also supports Stereoscopic 3D in all of its cut scenes an industry first.
Stayed away for far too long from this game.. which was a mistake.should have gotten it on release.fantastic experience and a must have for Resident Evil fans
It was a nice game Not as great as the previous ones but i'd still recommend on playing it.. the gameplay is the same as resident evil 4 and there is a lot of action in it.
Made to play with a friend! If you want the short version, RE5 is pretty damn awesome on its own - and better with a friend.
The long version is kinda like this: if you were expecting to be scared out of your wits, you're probably better off playing the earlier games. RE5 is more gory than anything else, and the game has a small learning curve. You'll probably only need to conserve ammo in the first couple of chapters; after that, the enemies usually drop enough that you can cleave through hordes at once. The only problem is - the AI is stupid. The entire game is played as a duo, much like RE4, only this time your AI partner can actually fight back. However, she tends to do so fairly inneficiently. Sometimes you'll need to coddle it along so it doesn't simply go off and gets itself killed.
All of that, however, changes completely if you have a friend to play along with you. The best experience you can have in this game is to play with a friend, both with a headset (or even split-screen). The Co-op aspect of the game is fantastic, and requires a good coordination effort on both parts so they can get out alive.
Bonuses in the game are unlocked via a points system. Every time you finish a chapter or a round of mercenaries (unlocked when you finish the game), you get a certain amount of points based on your performance. You can then use said points to buy you certain advantages on the main game (such as unlimited ammo for weapons you've fully upgraded) or costumes and color schemes (play with a "classic" image filter for that 80's B-movie horror feel!). There are tons of trophies in the game as well.
The story is fairly standard as far as RE games go, with the final return of one of the game's most beloved characters, Albert Wesker. Also returning from earlier games is Chris Redfield as the main character (with Sheva Alomar as his starring sidekick). Though you STILL cannot walk and aim at the same time in this game, it's easier to dodge enemy advances here than it was in RE4.
Speaking of dodging, your enemies get more and more devious as the game progresses. First they get faster, then they start using ranged weapons that are NOT stuff picked up from the scenery and thrown at you. Then, eventually, they start wearing bulletproof armor (hint: shoot the crotch!) and finally, they end up shooting at you with Rocket Launchers. Ever wonder what it's like to eat one?
By the way, your enemies are all African people (and monsters), but after the PR fiasco Capcom got with RE4 (where everyone was Spanish, but for some reason some people actually complained they were MEXICAN because Spanish was all they spoke... Learn some european culture, people!) not all your enemies are black.
