Easy, fun and great music.
Taiko No Tatsujin has always been my favorite rhythm game, and this entry keeps it going. The gameplay is simple, easy to pick up but can still get extremely brutal on harder difficulties. There's a great selection of songs here, from anime to J-pop to Namco and classical music, so there's pretty much something for everyone. You can play using the Wii Remote or Classic Controller or the Tatacon, but no matter what you play with, you'll have fun. The graphics are just as adorable as ever, and now you can outfit your Taiko with outfits ranging from fish to pencils. There's a story mode (which is still fun without Japanese knowledge) as well as the Taiko Dojo to hone your skills. Only con seems to be a lack of minigames, though perhaps it is unlockable. Great purchase!

Standard fare, but still good
Not too much different from Taiko Wii 1, except for the boss battles. Story mode progresses at an even pace with some amusing taiko costumes/accents. The daily dojo is back, should you choose to do it. I haven't unlocked all the songs yet, but the selection is decent. I really wanted the Shinkenger OP, not gonna lie. I just wish taiko didn't typically use song covers!!

Very good rhythm game
With a good tracklisting, it is easy an very fun to play, but the harder modes are very challenging.
I was a bit disappointed by the taiko controller : each hit is recognized with a small lag.
