description
The House of the Dead: OVERKILL charges you with mowing down waves of infected, blood-thirsty zombies in a last-ditch effort to survive Bayou City and uncover the horrific truth behind the origins of The House of the Dead.
Survival horror as its never been seen before! A pulp-style take on the classic SEGA light-gun shoot em up franchise. Back when the famous Agent G was still fresh out of the academy, he teamed up with hard-boiled bad-ass Agent Washington to investigate stories of mysterious disappearances in small-town Louisiana. Little did they know what blood-soaked mutant horror would await them in the streets and swamps of Bayou City.

Hilarity: The Shooter
Being a fan of the HotD series (the games, not the god-awful movies), I was curious about the new direction Sega took with Overkill. Well, talk about a great and hilarious surprise! From the very beginning, Overkill oozes style, with its retro, grind house feel. The best part is, the actual game is actual cool, too. Shooting zombies using the Wii remote is a blast, the graphics are quite good, with some cool effects and animations. Of course the Wii has its limits, but Sega did a nice job with this one. And the soundtrack. Oh boyo, the soundtrack. It´s not often you keep humming a song with lyrics as "the house of the dead is not only delicious, it´s f***g awesome". Minding that this´s a M-rated game, that´s fantastic.
Cheesy, but totally satisfying.

Great On-rails Shooter
This game is excellent! It's fun, it's vicious, it has strong language, it has a great soundtrack, but it's too short. This, and the fact tat sometimes the frame rate some times gets a little bit annoying are the only reason why this isn't a five star. Although it's still a great game that will give you and your friends a lot of fun!

Too short, but it´s cool!
It´s very hard to write a review of a game that you can end in 3 hours. Nice shooting, nice multiplayer, but the animations are poor, they could give it a little more attention! Looks like a PS2 game, but hey, if your aiming a multiplayer game, THAT´s the game.
