It has been 3 years since Travis earned the Number 1 spot in the United Assassins Assoc. ranking, and investments from major corporations have caused the city of Santa Destroy to change, but is it really for the better? You are Travis Touchdown a punk anti-hero , Japanese anime Otaku, beam katana master and pro wrestling-fanatic assassin. Revenge (as well as yoga sex) will bring you back to the UAA tournament. This time though, you begin at the bottom of the ranking and will have to fight your way up to save Santa Destroy and avenge your best friend.
Near Perfection! "No More Heroes" was a very bold game to produce and release on the Wii. It had some faults, but it was overall a really fun experience and very well acomplished videogame. With "No More Heroes 2" Suda 51 & the erst of Grasshoper really streamlined every negative aspect of the original, giving us players a true video game masterpiece that will require some quirks to truly appreciate (like enjoying toilet humour, otaku references, over the top sex innuendo, wrestling... Suda 51's mind set, really). If you can overlook some graphic glitches now and then, you will have a short but very sweet ride with this. The stunning soundtrack suits the game perfectly. Gameplay is slightly improved from the original. The highlight of the game for me where the NES like 8-bit different jobs Travis can take to make money. I surely played them way more then I really needed to finish the game. A highly recommended under appreciated gem that should stand tall on your Wii collection.

So much fun. Having never played the first one, I was unsure how much enjoyment I would get out of this title, but decided to give it a purchase anyway. Very glad to have done so. A lot of fun, beginning to end. Some very inventive boss battles, and a liberal use of slightly askew humor. A little bloody, and slightly misogynist, but if that kind of thing offends you, you probably wouldn't have read this far anyway.

No More No More No More Heroes I enjoyed No More Heroes 2 thoroughly, having looked forward to it since its announcement in 2008.
The combat system has been heavily improved and better paced, while the enemies are more intelligent. Moreover, there is the welcome addition of a Deathmatch mode upon completing the game, which allows players to revisit previous boss battles.
However, the game is not without its flaws. I especially felt that the game lacked Suda's characteristic 'trolling' as a narrative device (those who have played the first game know what I am talking about).
This being said, No More Heroes 2 is well worth your time and money. Certainly an excellent addition to any Wii game library.
