Rent it first... ... if you have the opportunity to do so. The gameplay is definitely not for everyone. I myself enjoyed many aspects of it, but see little to pull me back to a second play-through. I feel this game deserves a chance - but not a purchase, sight unseen.
If you are the type of gamer that likes to stop in the middle of the story to change the pace for an hour and meticulously create a garden, you'll rather enjoy it.

Must have... The graphics, the music, the gameplay, everything is amazing, if you want a new and refreshing game, then this is for you.

You've never seen nicer graphics on wii... period Do yourself a favor and forget all the preconceptions of crystal chronicles FF games... done? Good, because this game has nothing to do with them except for the races of the characters that inhabit its world. Now like I said in the title, this game has the most technically proficient graphics you've ever seen on wii. As for gameplay, it's quite good, although its not without its issues, like the way the camera is handled...
If you like action games and/or FF this is a pretty good choice.
